Self catering so we brought our own breakfast. Cooking facilities limited to a toaster and kettle but we expected this. Very pleasant view from the 'hut' which was well appointed with everything we needed.
Only suggestion is that a small shelf on the back wall of the hut for phones, glasses of water, spectacles etc whilst in bed would be very useful.

Beautiful Shepard’s hut with everything you needed for the perfect break! It was 5 miles out of York centre with a bus stop outside. Ubers were around 10-£15 too. Parking in York is very expensive. The hut was equipped with lots of glasses for us to use. It felt like a country escape break whilst still visiting a busy city. I loved the view of the river and York Marina. We didn’t get time to go to the waterfront Marina restaurant this time, but we will be back. Everything was seamless from start to finish and I feel very relaxed from this break. Thankyou Anna for being so helpful and letting us leave a car on check out day.
