Comfortable space with all the necessities including incredible coffee.

It has a real great location. 3 min walk to the nearest vaporetto (Giglio) and 3 steps from a very charming street with shops and restaurants. The host was very kind and was always available, trying to help with any doubt. Internet connection at light speed. Moka machines to make your Italian coffee. Hot water available at all times, but no head shower.

The apartment was smelling like wet carpet. Took me a while to figure it out. The drain of the only air conditioner (which is in the living room) goes into a bucket that you are supposed to empty from time to time. But if you go to bed around 10pm and wake up around 8am you will be in trouble. The bucket cannot hold more than 6-7hours of drained water. Probably the prior guests let it overflow by accident wetting the rug nearby. It means I went to bed at midnight and woke up at 6am to empty an almost completely full bucket. The air conditioner also stopped working twice and I had to unplug it to restart (due to draining problem). The TV is not smart, so no Youtube or Netflix. If you are traveling with kids it might be a problem. The bathroom is very little and the flush did not work very well, leaking water into the toilet. The dishes and glasses were kind of dirty and I had to wash it all before using them. Probably because the dishwasher is quite old and does not do a good job. If you are young and traveling light, you will not bother climbing the stairs to the second floor. But since we had a lot of luggage, it was troublesome to bring all the suitcases up and down.
