Genuinely luxurious stay

The property is absolutely beautiful. The room was spacious, spotless, and the bathroom was stunning. The view from the room was amazing, and the rooftop balcony view was truly to die for. It genuinely felt like a luxury stay. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, making the experience even better. The house is secure and easy to access, and with transport to downtown so close by, getting around was effortless.

Value for money. Solo travellers and business stays

A nice room with all necessary amenities, including coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave, limited utensils, laundry, and TV. The room I had was veey spacious with a great view of the town. The terrace is also great, if it's not raining or snowing. They have kept everything very clean. The bathroom is modern, with steam shower, a tub, and bidet! A value for money indeed. The hosts were very nice and welcoming. Tony is very helpful and goes beyond his way to help you during the stay. The access (to the property and the room) is through codes... so no hassle about the keys. Very near to Rupert station (walkable distance!) and accessible to 99 line that goes to DT/UBC.

The room we got was amazing. They were the sweetest Chinese house hold I ever met. Each room has their own door lock which keeps ur privacy. Their rooftop had one of amazing view as well. Room had huge TV, coffee maker, small refrigerator and microwave.

Only time you can do your own laundry is 9am-8pm and since they don't provide clean towels everyday, you have to do your own towel laundry. Which means if you have a tight travel schedule for Vancouver trip, you should've aware of it. Still, except that one all experience there was AMAZING!! 10/10

This was a scam. Police was called.

Host scammed us and harassed us. Host made us move to a different property upon check-in, which we agreed to due to limited alternative options in the area. Host then started repeatedly texting and calling us throughout the day and into the night (past 11pm), asking us to transfer hundreds of dollars to their personal account on a separate platform. They claimed that once we had done so they would give us free cancellation on the original booking. When we did not respond because this was obviously a scam, host continued to text and call the morning after, and showed up outside the door without notice. At this point, we contacted local police in fear of safety, who advised us to evacuate the property immediately and block all contact with the host. We then attempted to obtain a full refund for the reservation, given that we were harassed, and we only stayed for one night at a different property than the original booking. Host denied all accusations and refused to issue a full refund. I lost 1000+ CAD and hours of my vacation to this booking.

good location, the house is brand new, comfortable and luxury. the host is very nice and very helpful for us to introduce the city and local culture. tell us a lot of interesting local story make our trip very fun. a lot of better than hotel, we are allowed to use kitchen and have breakfast. very good experience. we would like to stay next time

Misrepresented description, disappointing experience.

Owners were cooperative allowing us to leave our bags until check in.

Advertised as a luxury loft, we actually got a cat dungeon basement apartment with bare minimum kitchen, tiny bedroom and hand me down furniture. The back fence is covered in building waste and the grounds are poorly kept. This apartment should be listed separately from the loft. Pictures in the listing include the interior of the owner’s house.

Amanda the host was really accommodating and helpful! Even when our flight got delayed, she let us check in late at night which we very much appreciated. The suite we had was a lot bigger than expected with a mini kitchenette, a nice bathroom and bedroom, and also a washer and dryer! The location was great! It is true that it is only 6 min away from the Skytrain station and also close to other bus stops! Other shops like Superstore are also really close by. We also had access to the rooftop balcony with such a beautiful view which also made our stay in Vancouver all the more worth it! We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated everything that Amanda did for us!

Unfortunately, the TV wasn't working, but it was not a big deal. Everything else was fantastic!

The room was confortable with an en suite closet, the en suite bathroom was new and with a window, the terrace had a great view all around on the town and the mountains. It was possible to make the laundry 2 times in 4 days The hosts are very kind. Should I come back to Vancouver, I would stay again at this place!

Superb

Very nice room, the bed was very comfy. The bathroom was spacious. Everything is new and clean. Amanda and her husband were very friendly and welcoming. She welcomed us with a plate of fruits, biscuits and chocolates which was very nice.

Unfortunately when we visited it was a bit noisy in the morning due to road works outside the house. But it's temporary and only applicable to upcoming visitors. It's an overall quiet neighborhood.
