Good value for money in a great part of town. Close to some great bars and restaurants. Staff are friendly and helpful. It can sometimes be a bit noisy as the road is quite busy.

I booked a six-night stay and explicitly requested a quiet room. There was no information at booking to indicate the room would be street-facing, yet I was initially placed in a room directly facing a very busy road. I want to be clear that I am not a light sleeper, and I am also accustomed to traffic and street noise, having travelled South America for several weeks prior. However, the noise in this room was unlike anything I have experienced before. Traffic noise was constant throughout the night, and the soundproofing is essentially non-existent. In a busy area like El Poblado, this makes the hotel not fit for purpose if guests are expected to sleep. The lack of sleep significantly affected my stay. I had walking tours booked during the day and struggled to concentrate or enjoy them due to exhaustion. While a room change was eventually facilitated, this only occurred after I raised the issue more than once, and the communication from staff throughout the process was extremely poor. Information was unclear, delayed, and at times contradictory, which made an already difficult situation more stressful. Overall, the handling of the situation gave the impression that guest experience was not a priority. I would not recommend staying here, particularly if you value sleep. Quiet room requests were not respected, and the hotel is not equipped to manage noise in such a busy location. The breakfast was really good and the staff were friendly, though inefficiency and poor coordination made resolving the issue slower and more frustrating than it should have been.
