A hidden gem that somehow manages to feel like a proper escape without actually being remote — we were only 15 minutes from Stirling train station, supermarkets, and the shopping centre, yet it felt a world away from the noise and bustle.
The hosts struck the perfect balance: warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming when we crossed paths, but completely respectful of our space — we never felt like guests in someone else's home.
Inside, the apartment was generous and airy, with a bed so comfortable we genuinely didn't want to get up. The real standout though? The skylights. On a sunny day the natural light flooded the whole space beautifully. ☀️
Would absolutely return.

Very spacious accommodation. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Good facilities to self cater and loved the peacefulness, being out of town. Even though we were near the main house we still had privacy. Washing machine provided was handy for our last wash before returning home.
Instructions for using the stove top could have been more detailed but we managed!
A clothes horse to hang the clothes on would have been great.

The property location was beautiful! We felt very safe and secure due to the gated access. My son also loved the garden area at the side
The only downfall was the wifi speed which was mentioned in the welcome pack anyway. Saying that it worked enough for getting by :-) Doesn’t put us off not staying again as we want to come back!
