Wharerata - Otaki Beach Holiday Home

Property was clean and felt like a home for us traveling with kids. Close to the beach so we only had a walk.

great location, close to the beach. super comfy couches! nice and private

it was under renovations - this wasn’t advised at time of booking

Lots of plates, cutlery, utensils. Plenty of whiteware. Bed linen and towels very clean. Pool table was a win. As was the sunshine on the deck

It would be nice to see the bathroom painted to increase the comfort factor/ value for money. However, the plentiful supply of amenities in the house made up for this :). We had a great stay at the property. Thanks

Good for families. Walking distance to beach.

The lock box code(s) we were provided did not work. We had to wait hours to enter property. We tried calling the number provided (Bach care or Something like that) for hours but no one answered. We also called Booking.com who tried their best to help but also struggled to get hold of the property to help with access. In the end the property owner dropped in to help us get in, he was friendly and helpful it was just a shame we couldn’t get through to anyone for so long and had to wait outside for hours. The neighbour also mentioned, while we were waiting, that this has happened a few times. Property itself served its purpose as good house for 2 couples and young children - walking distance to beach and had everything we needed.
