A beautiful, comfortable and spacious home with a stunning kitchen and gardens.

Plenty of space for all of us even on the drizzly afternoon. The beds were very comfortable and the bed linen was of excellent quality. Being away from the town’s street lights the night sky was astonishing.

Lack of towels on arrival, the dead and dying flies on the benches and window sills and the jets in the outside bath not working.

Great location, close to Martinborough, but far enough away to feel very private. Nice character home which was spacious, looked and felt good to be in. Comfortable beds, good showers in both bathrooms, and big kitchen with a large dining table.

On a Very Wintery, mostly wet, weekend in January we found the heating system rather tricky to get right, although after chopping our own kindling we did get the woodburner working. The most annoying thing was that there were no towels in either bathroom, and a thorough hunt around the house produced only 2 stripey beach towels for the 3 day stay?! Unfortunately neither the kitchen or main bathroom were very clean either, and the toilet paper was of poor quality - perhaps to do with the house being on tank water. I felt there was a lot of information missing from both the booking and the compendium at the house which would have been very useful. There was also a problem with supplying payment details to me; I asked for them Before I stayed, and they weren't given until 2 days after I left. It just felt a bit casual and slapdash to me. Not sure if I would stay there again.
