Opotiki District Council operates a zero-waste policy. Guests are required to remove their rubbish at the conclusion of their stay and drop off at the Resource Recovery Centre, Copenhagen Road, Te Kaha or 38 Wellington Street, Opotiki.

A vehicle is required for getting around.

The house was very clean and comfortable. Only disappointment was no toaster to make toast for the kids breakfast. Otherwise oversll a lovely shirt stay holiday.

Property was as described (once we found it - numbers are not in order, as we drove 300m past trying to find sequential number). Tricky to turn the boat, but not impossible. All amenities as you'd expect. Party up the road until after 1am meant little sleep, but not the fault of the property or owners. Hopefully we left it clean enough. Close to boat launching - need to purchase a permit.
