About this house rental
We purchased this home to use personally and rent out to those looking to have a great time. We have loved coming here over the years and look forward to making more great memories. Top rule is to have fun. Only other rules are to clean up and if you mess something up, man up and let us know. Our house has three bedrooms, two full baths and sleep up to 10 based on sqft laws. We welcome all types of get-aways (weekend or week long) and hope everyone has a great time. Feel free to reach out via message for any questions.
Keep your larger groups together in one home instead of splitting them up in hotel rooms. Full kitchen and grill area allows you to make anything you want to eat instead of always eating at restaurants. Private pool for Island Club vacationers. You can bring your own food and drink to this pool and have a great time. Weekends are very popular at Put-In-Bay but during the week can be more fun as it slows down and empties out some. You can go to parks, caves, golf course, wineries etc. all on the island. Cedar point is a short 20min drive away with the best amusement park in the world in addition to a world class water park
Island club vans can be at the home in 5 minutes and it only costs $3 per person to get to the strip. Golf carts are available to rent through multiple sources and can be rented by the day all the way up to by the week. If you wanted to walk to the strip it would take about 15 minutes. House has space to park 2 cars.
If these rules are not followed, your deposit may be kept and you may be evicted. PLEASE DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN:
- If you have more people at the home than what you paid for, your deposit will be kept. We have cab companies and other people who watch over the house to count. If you may want more than 10 people please contact me directly.
- No smoking in the home
- All litter, trash and cans are to be kept picked up, in and outside of the home.
- No blankets or indoor furniture outside of the home whatsoever.
- You and all of your guests are responsible for any damage to the home or it's contents. If something in the home is damaged, or the home itself is damaged, you are held responsible.
- Do not let anyone in the home if you believe they may damage something.
- Must be 21 years or older to rent.
If any of the above rules are broken is reason for your security deposit not to be refunded and possible eviction. If the damage is above the cost of the security deposit, you will be billed for the charges
- Pets are welcome. PLEASE HELP US AND KEEP THE PETS OFF THE FURNATURE. There will be an added $200 refundable deposit and additional $20 nightly charge, capped at $50 per stay per dog. Please contact me before booking via message service to go over terms. If booking is made prior to conversation NO pets will be allowed.
- No refunds due to weather. If the ferries stop running we will not issue a full refund. You will be given the option to rebook.

Beds were nice. Bathrooms were pretty clean but the water came out black first in the one shower. Furniture and kitchen is outdated. Make sure to wear shoes or sandals in the house because your feet will turn black. Pool was nice.

We visit Put in Bay every August and have such a wonderful time. The neighborhood at this vacation rental is a cute little place with the feel almost like a campground. We loved that they offered golf cart rentals right there at the office. The house was cozy and perfectly sized for us. We had a few minor issues which the owner was fast to address. We had a great time and will definitely try to book again in the future.

When I first saw this rental, I messaged the owner and asked about the bedroom accommodations. He said the master has a big bed and then the other two bedrooms have bunk beds. I said I don’t think that is going to work and I would check around. He told me he could put a full or queen size bed in one of the rooms. I thank him and booked the condo.
Something came up and I was not able to go. But my bf and the other 2 couples still went.
I have rented VRBO numerous times and have always been very pleased, most of the time they are better than I thought.
Not this time! They told me their were ants everywhere and when they got there the sink had a lot of food sitting in the drain. And the ants seemed to be coming or attracted to that. One of the woman said she spent the better part of the morning cleaning up.
He did NOT remove the one set of bunk beds as he has indicated. Very upsetting, because I reassured everyone that they would have “big” beds and my bf and I would take the bunk beds. You go on vacation to reconnect with your partner, bunk beds ummm no!
It had 2 bathrooms as described, but the main bathroom had no water pressure and everyone was forced to use the master bedroom bathroom. 1 man did shower in the main bathroom and said the tub did not drain either.
My bf called the owner who said, ya I know I have had that problem for 2 years and just can’t seem to get it fixed! Wow seriously??? If he knew he should have listed it on his description of property. Main bathroom has a low water pressure but is still usable.
They did say the property was in a very nice location, it was very roomy, and 3 couples had plenty of room to move about.
They grilled out one night and they said the grill looked like it was ready for the scrap yard.
Another thing I thought odd was that he called them one day and said did my cleaning lady leave a big set of keys in your condo today? There was no indication that they would have a cleaning service during our stay. So to have someone in the condo when we didn’t know that was bothersome.
Overall we will not stay there again. We all love put-in-bay and go once a year.
As I said VRBO has never let me down. I have talked friends into using it and they all love it.
I just hope I don’t get Leary about booking with them again.
Just be upfront about yout property. We have been told things about places and have said ya I can live with that. And still booked. No surprises!!!
