Royal Hotel

The receptionists were very kind and helpful, which is greatly appreciated! The decor of the hotel is quite nice and the location is good (but not too close to the seaside, not too far either).

I would say that the hotel needs a bit better maintenance. I understand that some guests are problematic and leave dirt after themselves, but it is also the hotel's duty to check and clean properly. In our case - I had to clean some spots on the wall, because another guest left some dirt marks on some parts of the wall (I will not specify, because it is nasty). I cleaned those myself with wet wipes, coz it was really nasty. So yeah, although I acknowledge that some guests could have lower hygiene standards, it is important that the hotel pays attention and takes proper actions. I always take antibacterial wet wipes with me, because many people tend to leave nastiness after themselves unfortunately. Furthermore, their housekeeping schedule is a little weird and we had some misunderstandings + their safety box doesn't seem too safe - it is not attached to the wall and you need a key for it.

The reception lady asked us to pay for the public parking on the street, so be cautious. The very disappointing thing was that there were no massagers currently (with no details about when they’d come back to the hotel) and the spa was quite pricey
