Very dissapointing. In need of a thorough refurb.

The location is very convenient. The hotel is within a walking distance to both the city centre and the sea.

The overall condition of the place is awful with lots of disrepair, dirt, wear and tear. Repulsive to a point that I was tempted to walk out looking for somewhere else to stay at. If it wasn't for the fact that I arrived late and tired and booked a short stay, I probably would have. Pretty much anything I looked at needed replacement or repair. Stains were everywhere - on doors, walls and blinds, etc. The bedsheets had holes on them. Mould in and near the bathroom. The carpets were old and dusty and desperate for refreshment or replacement. The hard furniture was wonky and crudely put together. The bathroom was in particularly bad condition. I know people who would have been so grossed out, they would have refused to step in it. The lack of shower curtain combined with the fixed shower head meant that water was spraying everywhere and pooling. Missing or smashed drain hole cover revealed the filth down the drain. Even the door frame was wobbly to a point where once I had to push it in, in order to be able to lock behind. The coridor stank of stale cigarette smoke. I'd like to add that I do not like to post negative reviews, but I feel cheated and and this one is well warranted. For those who claim that the low cost (which is subjective) of this accomodation justifies the condition, I'd like to add that I disagree. Cleanliness and upkeep should not be up to debate - the premium is for the extras - more space, topedd up fridge, inclusive breakfast, access to a balcony, etc. I've been in countries where most people would expect much lower standards - Cambodia to give one example, and even there I enjoyed a better accomodation and paid less.

Don’t go there

Disgusting. Towel was dirty. After sleeping in that bed my T-shirt smells like I was smoking the whole night and I have to travel further with this smell. Hairdryer is not working. Everything is dirty. It’s not even close to 3 stars. Was totally a mistake to book this one

Удобное расположение отеля. Центр Варны.

Грязно было в номере. Воняло канализацией на всем первом этаже, а в номере вообще было не выносимо. Окно у меня в номере было постоянно открыто, по другому было невозможно находится в номере. На второй день я переехал в другой отель. Номер грязный и пыльный, думаю что все номера в этом отеле такие же. Полотенца старые, обтрепанные. Цена за 60 лев. Цена не низкая. Все очень плохо в этом отеле. Никому не рекомендую останавливаться в отеле Варна.

Nothing, it's a disgrace

The check-in was a nightmare even with me speaking Bulgarian, the room had a bad smell of cigarettes, the heating through the air conditioning only blew cold, the room had a upturned dressing table boxing in the boiler for the 1920s bathroom that had dangerous wiring under the sink, the only reason I didn't check out was because I arrived off a late flight and I had been working all day and I was very tired. I will never stay again. They can't say its budget and you get what you pay for, because there's lots better for the same money or less.

This hotel is in a great central location and exceptional value for money and the staff were very helpful . We had a deluxe double studio which was very spacious. The decor was slightly dated but don't let that put you off . Will definitely book here again .
