At the rear, we took inspiration from traditional mountain farms, where the driveway to the barn is elevated. That’s where we’ve located the delivery point for the wood chips we use to power our own wood-chip heating system—the centerpiece of our sustainable energy concept. As guests of our vacation apartments with a pool, you’ll of course have free access to our rooftop pool and the other wellness facilities on the upper floor. Just press the elevator button, and you’ll be there in no time. Here, in the pool’s 30-degree water, you can relax comfortably, enjoy the view, and swim from the inside to the outside—an experience not just for winter. The rooftop pool is located in the gable roof of the apartment building and is exclusively accessible to guests staying in our 18 vacation apartments. In addition to the rooftop pool, you’ll find a Finnish sauna, a steam room, and a Black Forest relaxation room—exclusively for our guests and included in the room rate. This way, you can unwind perfectly after an active day in the fresh Black Forest air. And if you’re looking for a bit more action, simply work out on the state-of-the-art equipment in our fitness room. The ambiance is designed entirely with your relaxation in mind. Our Schwarzenbach Rooftop Pool isn’t actually located on the roof itself, but is an infinity pool situated directly beneath the gable. So here, you can enjoy a Black Forest-style rooftop pool: high up in the fresh air, free from the hustle and bustle, and therefore simply wonderfully relaxing. Simply linger in the pleasantly warm water, take in the scenery, and relax in peace. Please note: The pool is 135 cm deep, making it suitable even for older children. Younger children must be supervised at all times. Our vacation apartments with a pool are located on the southwestern edge of Altglashütten—and thus right in the heart of nature. Hiking and biking trails run right past the house. The ski slope, featuring a toboggan run and three ski runs of varying difficulty levels, is right across the street. The most beautiful Black Forest lakes are just a few minutes away.
