Ocean Bay Resort & Spa Phu Quoc

The location on the beach front is incredible and the views from the beach front accommodation are amazing.

We would say the hotel does not give you a full 5 star treatment that is suggested online. The room is beautiful but very damp. The on site restaurant food is priced outrageously and the food is average at best. The bar charges 3/4 times anywhere else I have been in Vietnam for drinks. The gym is not fit for a 5 star hotel (and this was something we booked with using in mind). Whilst it is no fault of the hotel, all the staff knew that the sea was going to be rough all week. And therefore all the activities cannot be used. According to staff, this happens on this side of the island during this season. I would not stay here again as the expectations of the hotel were not met.

We had a wonderful stay at Ocean Bay Resort. The employers were very friendly and helpful. We even had a special request of trying local fruits and the hotel organised us fruits from the local market! Definitely coming back!

The air conditioner was leaking water every sometimes. But it was okay.

We stayed for 2 nights in a beautiful beachfront bungalow and had an amazing experience. The beach and swimming pool offered breathtaking views, making our holiday even more special. The staff were outstanding. Everyone, from the drivers to the receptionists, was extremely polite, friendly, and helpful. A special thanks to the receptionist who helped buy me a pair of swimming trunks after I realized I had forgotten mine. If I ever come back, I promise to return them! 😄
