Phu Quoc Eco Beach Resort

Wonderful, helpful staff. Beautiful grounds! Nature everywhere. The infinity pool is just lovely. Sunsets on the beach are beautiful - windy and natural (even if the beach isn't so nice to swim in at the moment - not the right season). I had some lovely meals at the restaurant -i recommend the banana flower salad and papaya salad with shrimp. Breakfast was also delicious, especially the coffee which I drank copious amounts of 🤤 You could (as I did!) happily spend a good few days just hanging out at the resort, swimming relaxing and chilling. There is also a nice attached spa on the beach if you feel like getting a massage while the waves crash outside! I also love the natural semi open bathrooms. Lastly, just little touches, like the staff knew I wanted to watch some world cup matches so made sure the tv was set to the right channel for me before I even arrived. I really appreciated that.

Everything was good! Some may find the location a bit far away but this is also part of the charm. Grab works well, or staff can help you find local drivers. Visiting Dong Duong night markets is an easy trip. A few mosquitoes at night so be aware to keep that bathroom door closed (it's half open so they can come if the door isn't closed).

Our bungalow was right on the beach, close to the pool -it was heaven.

Unfortunately, as it was the low season, the beautiful outdoor restaurant overlooking the ocean was closed as there weren't enough guests.

The location was quiet and peaceful. The gardens were lovely. The private beach and pool were well kept, clean and quiet. We extended our stay by one night because we loved it.

If I had to pick one thing, the mattress was very hard.

Room was clean and spacious, house keeping came each day, pool area and the beach was very good.

It's a very isolated hotel, nearest main road is about 2 kL away up a narrow road,long way to walk!so if you want to go and where it taxi or motorcycle, no grab motorcycles,.Breakfast is not good, food on the so called buffet was exposed, not covered, & not kept at Safe food temperatures, hot should be hot! & cold food cold!.quality of the food was very poor!,I did share my concerns with the staff, & responded, we will pass it on to the team, I doubt if anything will change!!?.my concerns about food safety standards are extremely important ,not only for myself, but, other guests, to prevent food ,related issues, Eco has a duty of care to provide, foods safe too eat!!.the restaurant is 0verlooking the ocean, but it's very dismal, all the furniture and structure is dark brown, not very inviting,,definitely needs a major overhaul, brighter,,& maybe cushions on the chairs, overall dismal,!! Housekeeping, was good,!! .it's obvious that ECO, needs to invest in staff training, i& infrastructure,,so bring it up to the standards, guests expect,.& feel safe,.
