    While it wasn’t the perfect trip for us because of the rainy weather, and we were sick and stayed in most of the time, I’m so glad that we ended up staying in Lahana. The resort is such a peaceful oasis in the middle of the town. But what made it truly special is the staff: everyone was genuinely happy, warm, and welcoming. We ended up having most of our dinners at Cá Gỗ restaurant. The Vietnamese set meals for 2 were very good, and value for money. Everyone at the restaurants were also super lovely to us and our baby. Restaurant was not very busy, most of the time it felt like we were one of the few guests there. The view of the pool from the restaurant, and the greenery, were superb. The restaurant is somewhere on the hill side, near the top. Since we stayed on top of the hill, we had to walk down a bit but it was a short walk. They have buggies to take you within the resort. Some people reviewed that there is quite a bit of walking in the resort. I would say that if you’re fairly fit, it’s really just a bit of a walk up and down the hill. The guests are overwhelming Korean. Some Chinese speaking (I guess Taiwanese). Some Westerners. A few Indians. And almost no Vietnamese. When we were there most guests we encountered were nice, friendly, and peaceful. There is a bit of a walk from the resort entrance to the main road, but once you are on the main road, it’s very convenient, with restaurants, convenient store, pharmacies, etc. all around. Taxis (Grab and Green SM) are cheap to get around anyway. If you need to check out late by a couple of hours, it’s chargeable but can be arranged. Overall, lovely experience. A place that feels peaceful and warm and feels like home. I would come back.

    Very disappointing. Didn't have a welcoming feel. Staff were OK but didn't seem engage and not happy. We wanted some ice for the room but had to pay for it. They wouldn't deliver it to the room and had to get it from the bar which was quite a way from our room. If you have young kids in prams or struggle to walk up hills it will be very difficult as it's quite steep to get to the rooms. The room was very musty and they had to get a defuser in to abate the odour. The breakfast was mediocre and it's quite a way from the beach
