Cosy vintage apartment 5 minutes to the main pedestrian street in Karakoy with very helpful staff.

It's vintage and rather clean but needs some renovation. Furniture is rather "used" and keeps the paths of time, the mattress is awfully soft and it is very very loud street outside. Both bedrooms have windows to the yard, but still it is very noisy every day (except maybe Monday) and you can hear techno-house music till 1-2 am. The stair to the apartment is very harsh (not for old people or hard baggage) and the floors are creaky. The flat is nice but be prepared

Charming apartment full of character. Exceptionally convenient location. It comes equipped with everything a family might need for any length of stay: washing machine, dish washer, air conditioner, fan... Bedrooms are tucked away on the quieter courtyard side.

It's noisy! Especially on weekends. The cafes downstairs play loud music until midnight, and passing cars often add to it as many drivers keep their windows down and music turned up. Since the living room faces a busy street, the charming wooden windows unfortunately don’t do much to block the sound. On a smaller note, only two doses of laundry detergent were provided for a week, so we had to purchase more ourselves. Also, the mattress in the right-side bedroom is due for replacement. Oh! One more thing: the communication with the agency wasn't super clear at first. We did get all the information we needed, eventually, but they aren't very responsive, at least not at booking.com.

L’emplacement très central dans un quartier jeune et branché, la décoration, la réactivité du service. La machine à laver est très appréciée.

Le manque de petites choses essentielles, comme des condiments dans la cuisine (il n’y a même pas de sel dans la cuisine!), du liquide vaisselle, l’échantillon de savon tout petit dans la salle de bain. La rue est assez animée et très bruyante, et donc dans le salon aussi.

The location was great and the flat had a nice vibe

It wasn't clean. The floor probably wasn't mopped for years and the bathroom - despite being quite new - had mould. The windows where so dirty you can't properly see outside. We also found one of the pillows being wet! One of the beds had the worst mattress you can imagine, very soft, bouncy, impossible to sleep on
