About this house rental
With 4 comfortable bedrooms, 3 with a queen size bed, and plenty of bunks this property easily sleeps 14 guests. The kitchen is equipped for full meals and more. Amenities include coffee maker, microwave, full-sized fridge and toaster. The home is newly renovated with open concept floor plan and game room on the lower walk out. A full sized dining table can seat everyone. There is a sitting area just off the dining room for reading and visiting with family and friends. Off the living room enjoy a beautiful deck overlooking the lake. This brand new two-bath home has a first floor shower and a nearby full laundry. Wi-fi included with two smart TVs to enjoy Netflix and Disney Plus! Linens and towels are provided for our guests.
This secluded retreat is located on 20 acres between Amherst and Waupaca Wisconsin. Private with access to the water it is sure to help you build special memories. The property also comes with a private dock, 2 kayaks and paddleboat on the lake. Located on the south end of the property just a golf cart ride away from Spring Lake, its quiet location set back from one of Wisconsin’s Rustic Roads will make you feel like you are in a car commercial.
ATV/Snowmobile trails are adjacent to the property with plenty of parking for large trailers and trucks. Trails wind through the property for private adventures! Enjoy hiking, swimming, nature walks, rafting, kayaking, and fishing on this spacious property. The large flat yard make the property perfect for outside games and activities. The entire property features large Oak trees with wildlife abound. In the evening enjoy a private bonfire at the fire-pit which overlooks the lake on one of the many high points of the property with breathtaking views. Outside you will find a picnic table, lawn chairs (6), gas grill and large fire pit area.
Sunset Bay is located less than 13 miles outside Waupaca that contains several wonderful restaurants, gift shops, grocery stores, delis and the famous chain o’ lakes. Pontoon rentals are available for at Ding’s Dock. Located only 8 miles away is Lake Emily Park. Lake Emily Park offers a boat launch (fishing and water sports), hiking trails, beach, and picnic areas. Sunset Bay is also 7 miles away from Standing Rocks Park, also great for hiking, cross country & downhill skiing in the winter. It is 45 minutes from the Fox River Mall in Appleton, WI and 20 minutes from UW-Stevens Point.
Nearby attractions include several micro-breweries (Central Waters, Oso's, Yak and Point Brewery), a micro-distillery (Great Northern), the Waupaca Chain o’ Lakes, the Iola Old Car Show, Experimental Air Craft Association Fly-in, Midwest Renewable Energy Fair, UW –Stevens Point, Iola Winter Carnival, The World’s Largest Trivia Contest and the Waupaca Art Festival. The home is very spacious and comfortable. We thought we would use the hot tub, golf carts and the game room however, we had so much fun cooking, talking and catching up, we never got to it. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to make our meals.We enjoyed walking the outdoor trails on a perfect October weekend.

Loved our stay! Our family enjoyed everything this property offers...the hot tub, golf carts, canoe, and the trails. The house is spacious and stocked with everything you would need. We already booked for 2026!!

Our family with 3 generations stayed for a long weekend and loved our stay. It was conveniently located for us and had things to do close by. The house itself was clean, well stocked and comfortable.

Great stay. Weather was cool and windy so not much fishing and kayaking. Great swimming at Sunset beach plenty for the adults and trans to do. Great fire pit area and hot tub.
