About this cottage rental
Perfect location on pristine Big Green Lake in south central Wisconsin. Incredible 50 foot water frontage with large lawn and big sandpile for the kids. Seasonal pier with ladder and small boat lift (1500lb capacity). Safe swimming with sandy bottom. Classic 3 1/2 (one loft area) bedroom, 2 bath cottage with 2 bedrooms/loft upstairs and Master bedroom/bath on first floor. Two sleeper sofas. Sleeps 14. 1.5 hours northwest from Milwaukee, 1 hour northeast of Madison. AC units and gas/electric space heating. Ceiling fans throughout. WiFi internet access provided. All appliances including washer and dryer. Guests bring their own sheets and towels.

The description was perfect, no surprises. The house had everything we needed. Kitchen well stocked. We loved the cottage feel. Was very clean. The owner was super responsive and communicated regularly. We loved the big deck the view was spectacular and inside view out the large picture windows was awesome too. We rented a pontoon at Pierless and that worked out great. Great fish fry at Reillys. Lunch at Adam’s Rib was a great town bar with great bar food. Also liked catching lunch at Heidel House outside porch. Thanks for all the suggestions, I would highly recommend this place to stay!

Beautiful location…lovely lakefront. Rustic home. Nice to have a kayak and rowboat available. Good outdoor gathering space on the deck. Was not made aware that neighbor’s kids 4 houses away would be playing in the sandpit. They acted as if it was normal. I see this was mentioned in other reviews. It was somewhat clean for an older home. TV is really small. If being on the lake is your main priority this might work.

The deck and yard could use some work could not see the kids on the pier due to the overgrown vegetation along the waterfront
