Beautifully Designed Modern Spanish Villa w/ Private Pool, Close to the Strip

The host was responsive from booking to departure. The home was lovely and had everything you need to enjoy time with your family. It was convenient to the strip as well as being far enough away to have some quiet time. It was bright and well secured. Having a washer and dryer available was a plus! You will enjoy this villa -

Most likely will not return. The pictures of the place make it look more appealing than it actually is. Some areas have been updated and were nice. Some have not and would cause us to avoid going back.First, we played "find the fifth bedroom game" for about five minutes before walking through the garage finding it attached to the outside wall of the garage. Not a big deal, but you may find yourself looking for it as well.As noted in the previous review(s) the upstairs shower (one for three bedrooms) has almost no water pressure. Really... The kitchen faucet appeared to have about twice the pressure. The three occupants of the upstairs then had to share a shower with the garage bedroom occupant. And this shower is located downstairs, between the kitchen and the garage...and separated by a pocket door that did not want to fully close...and was very loud to open and close.Last, the general vicinity of the property is kinda sketchy. We found a couple of decent restaurants, but the grocery stores had lots of security measures in place and very strangely acting customers. Didn't make you feel overly safe. I get it..its Vegas, but there are definitely areas of Vegas that are nicer.Host was open and accommodating to a request to having some work associates over for dinner, but we opted to go to their STR instead which was in a better area. Again, decent place that kinda met our needs...but lacking in the necessities and area that we were expecting.

Stayed here over Christmas with my sons and their families including their dogs. The house is in a quiet neighborhood about 10 minutes from the Strip. House was very clean and all the furniture and fixtures were updated and modern. A short drive to the strip or roughly 20 Uber. Lotus of Siam, Target, etc. all a short drive away.We had a party of 10 adults and were able to sleep comfortably and prepare our own meals. Only issue we ran into was dishwasher didn't work. The neighborhood itself is in a residential area without many trees or grass (I know it's Vegas), so not the best for walking dogs. However, UNLV was a 5 min drive, with a park-like campus that was perfect for the dogs.Would definitely consider staying here again. Thanks for the great stay.

The 5th bedroom was hard to find as you have to walk through a bathroom to get to the garage and then go through the garage to the isolated bedroom. The house got very hot at night and we found that the smart thermostat is set to shut off at night which is not ideal for 100+ temps. Each bed only had one towel and no extra towels are available. So two people to a king sized bed were expected to share a towel. There were no pool towels either. When I asked the owner he said we could use the laundry which was helpful but I recommend having more towels available. There was also animal poop left in the yard which we had to pick up ourselves since we had a young child with us. The house was clean and location was close to the strip! The pool was cool, clean and refreshing.
