Great value stay, awesome staff, good pool

Awesome location in the heart of Canggu, staff were very welcoming, cleaners were amazing and made up our room every day which was wonderful. Would definetly stay again the positives outweighed any negatives.

Pillow was a little bit hard, also would be good to have some face cloths along with the towels - but other than that great. Pool looks like it needed a clean due to the sand from tourists going to the beach then coming back to the pool - looks like sand hasn't been cleaned out in quite a while. Construction next door didn't bother us.

Excellent value for money

Our bungalow was clean, tidy and comfortable with everything we needed. The greenery and surrounds made you feel you were in a tropical paradise. The staff were very transparent in letting us know prior to check-in that there was construction happening in the buildings adjacent to the property between 8am and 5pm. Despite this, we barely heard any construction noises our entire stay. They layout of the property made us feel like we were the only people there, and it was very peaceful and relaxing. Staff were very kind and attentive to our needs. There was always someone on site to help 24/7. Excellent value for money and I would highly recommend this accommodation.

The blankets were a little thin which meant it could be a bit cold at night with the air-conditioning. The outdoor seating area was beautiful, but the chairs would be more comfortable with some cushions.

Great garden, pool and bungalows

Really like the whole terrain. The garden, the big pool (nice warm water), the bungalows. Very good WiFi. I stayed here for one week, to work remotely, and loved it here.

There are not so many warungs close by. You have to walk 5min, which is fine.

The most friendly and accommodating staff- my second time staying here and will only stay here if I’m in Canggu! Clean rooms with house keeping daily and 24 hour reception.

Construction of new apartments inside the hotel! The entrance is dark and very dangerous specially when traveling with children. Snakes in the garden. Pool !!!!

Everything was great. Staff was nice. As there was still some construction work around, they told me I could stay just one night to make sure it was ok. It was really nice of them. As it’s manual labour, it’s definitely not loud and I didn’t hear anything from my room. Good location close to everything in Canggu. Very convenient. And the ramen restaurant right next to it is great. And circle K next is also convenient. Kitchen available and free water. About the room they asked to do the cleaning everyday. The room was nice, beautiful, small fridge, hot water and good water pressure. Lights near the bed. International power outlet next to the bed was super convenient. I’ve also asked for an extra pillow and they gave it to me. Otherwise everything perfect! Would stay here again for that price.

Only little con could have been that the bed was a bit too firm for my taste and that it was making some noise sometimes.

Amazing!

Absolutely amazing stay — a true gem in Canggu! We stayed for two weeks at Desaku Bungalows in Canggu and honestly, I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Their kindness really made our stay special. The gardens are beautifully maintained and give the place such a peaceful, tropical vibe. The pool is large, super clean, and perfect for relaxing throughout the day. There’s also a full shared kitchen that’s spotless and fully equipped with everything you need — a big plus if you like cooking your own meals. We especially loved having the pool table available — it was a great way to unwind in the evenings. The rooms were just perfect: spacious, cleaned daily, and we were given fresh towels every day. Having Netflix on the TV was a great touch for a cozy night in. The location is ideal — it feels like you’re in the heart of Bali, surrounded by nature, but still away from the busyness of central Canggu. It truly felt like home. When it was time to leave, the staff helped with our bags and gave us such a warm farewell — we were genuinely sad to go. For the price we paid, the quality and comfort exceeded all expectations. We will absolutely be back and can’t recommend Desaku Bungalows enough!

Clean but noisy due to temp construction and other factors

Good location. Spacious cabins, very clean.

Very noisy . Hard beds. A rooster woke us each morning at 5am. Also a lot of loud construction, which was explained to us when we checked in. The agreement was it would begin at 8am. However most days it began earlier than this.

Nice place but construction work is very noisy

Good location, near restaurants and bars, and 15 minutes walking (or a couple of minutes on a bike) from the beach. The room has everything you might need and the property has a lot of character. Staff is nice and friendly.

As others said, there are some major construction works going on at the moment (in the property and next door). It is very noisy and a bit awkward with all the construction workers passing by constantly. I found it almost unbearable to stay by the pool with noise, which is a shame, not relaxing at all. I suppose they’re doing what they gotta do to expand their facilities, but I would probably wait another couple of months at least to come back.

I had a wonderful stay at Desaku Bungalow! The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing—perfect for a Bali getaway. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always greeting us with a smile and offering assistance whenever needed. The room was clean, spacious, and had a cozy, traditional charm. I especially loved the garden surroundings and the quiet, serene vibe. Great value for money and definitely a place I’d love to return to. Highly recommended!

Definitely suited for young backpackers!!

Location is good

Bungalow is stuffy and doesn’t provide enough lighting or windows. Bed was terrible, hard and only one pillow each. When asked for another we were told it’s one per person. Can hear the neighbours very clearly.

Pool could enjoy a cleaning session soon, but all good. Construction is happening nearby, but we weren't bothered as well as it wasn't loud by any means. If you're staying in house rather than bungalows - you're furthest from it so you should be good!

Perfect Location

Perfect location in Canggu within walking distance of all of the best cafes and restaurants. The pool is clean and there are enough loungers for all of the guests. The staff are friendly and very helpful. There is also a kitchen that can be used by the guests to cook if they would like to. I’d highly recommend this place!

There was a bit of construction going on around the property, but it’s like that pretty much everywhere in Canggu.

Great location . Pool area was great. Really good value for money and bungalows have all you need to have a sleep and shower. The are also clean.

Aircon could have been stronger in the room but still ok. Could hear a venues music at night but was ok cause they closed up at 11pm at night.

Nice pool, great WiFi and A/C. Perfect location if you are interested in staying in Canggu. They also offer motorbike rental service.

They had a problem with the reservation and they offered me a more expensive bungalow. The area is very busy in terms of traffic. The mattress isn’t the best either.

The staff at the accommodation were incredibly friendly, and the well-maintained garden was charming. The bungalow setup created a camping atmosphere, enhancing the overall experience. The provided motorcycle was in great condition, and I enjoyed spending time with the friendly cat that visited right outside the door throughout my stay. If someone reads this, please give some food to the cat! 😍

Amazing staff and location. Super! clean, daily cleaning provided. Impeccable garden, Quiet but still right in the centre, super safe and a solid kitchen for your needs. AC and fan worked amazing, tv with Netflix and prime. Bathroom with fridge and cutlery.

The rooms have little natural light, could profit alot from sky lights :)
