"Custom log house" is an understatement... it's a joy to see how a master craftsman can build a home. And the story of how it was built (provided by the owner/builder) is an incredible read.This is a lovely place in a great location on Grand Mesa. Excellent hiking, biking, birding and paddling all within a few miles.An incredible spot if you enjoy spending time in this part of western Colorado.

This is an amazing beautiful property! We spent a lot of time just relaxing on the deck. Perfect location to go up on top of the mesa to picnic or hike. Worked perfectly for the dogs too!

The house overall was ok. We did have a problem with mice that made one of the bedrooms undesirable. When we reported the problem, the owner came out promptly and set out mousetraps. The kitchen was well equipped.There was no internet, no bad weather to cause a problem.
