Charmante maisonnette

*Great location: It is within walking distance of most sightseeing spots in the center of Orleans. *Secure parking: Having a garage is perfect if you arrive by car, as you can leave it there safely. *Quiet: There are train tracks nearby, but I couldn't hear the trains at all. *Easy check-in: The instructions on how to access the apartment were perfectly clear.

I won't be too harsh with my rating because the recent heatwave isn't the host's fault, and otherwise, it’s a great apartment for cooler days. *No AC / Very Hot: The apartment doesn't have air conditioning, and because it heats up from the roof, it became like a sauna. It was very uncomfortable to sleep in such a hot room. *Ventilation issues: Since the apartment doesn't have standard windows, the only option to air it out was to leave the doors open, which I didn't feel comfortable doing while sleeping.

Central location. Well appointed

Extremely narrow garage but managed to park and david did offer an alternative- open air parking.

Very comfortable self contained accommodation in a central position , very convenient for walking to the old part of Orleans. A garage below the apartment is ideal for car, or in our case 2 motorcycles. The apartment is reached via the garage , which has a secure entry system. David gave clear instructions about how to access . Despite being in a central position, it is very quiet at night.

Nothing to dislike

Bed was comfortable

Narrow and uneven steps up from the garage to the garden area of the apartment and then a few more steps to the entrance. Garden needed a sweep and garden furniture needed a clean. The property inside has all you need but needs some tlc regrds better cleaning of doors, switches, sockets, light shades and corners. Fridge needs a proper wipe out. Ridiculously tiny stools for bedside tables and the property needs painting, i.e skirting boards and wallswhere old light fittings have been replaced with new. In my opinion, a cheaply furnished rental property. It's requested that on vacating the property, the client strips the bed and leaves said bedding on the floor. Please, do not request putting the bedding on the floor, it's so unhygeinic.
