Scam.

When I arrived I thought I was already set to go in with code. I called the number that was on the booking they didn’t answer. Called again and So many different numbers and made me wait outside in the dark until they called back. Jus to say they can’t accommodate my stay

the central air did not work and it was only the small wall unit in the living room that cooled. it’s not ok when it’s hotter inside than outside; kitchen was minimally stocked with cheap essentials

Exceptional

I absolutely loved this place. Lots of space, great kitchen, comfortable beds, great parking garage, and easy to use W/D.. I stayed here with family for a few days and it's one of best spots in Chicago. Can't wait to return

The one great thing about the apartment was the free garage parking.

After booking the stay, I received a mail asking After each person staying in the homes full name and age. It then progressed to having details of my profession and my LinkedIn account and in the end asking After a credit card picture. I almost felt a criminal before I even arrived. My booking was confirmed on booking.com however it was apparent they seemed to want to know me more before actually confirming my reservation and it was back amd forth emails imstead of one email listing everything they wanted/needed from me. As I only booked 24 hours prior to arrival, around 2pm the day of arrival, and after expressing my hesitation to sending copies of my card, I did it none the less. Check it was at 3pm. Long story short, I had informed them I was arriving in Chicago and that I had not received any code to access the property. I was informed it was due to not having a copy of my credit card and ID, which I had sent to them over an hour in advance. They then proceeded with payment and instead of contacting me directly after the first attempt they tried 3 times putting an instant block on my card. They then refused to give me access to the property until payment was made. This happened twice. Then a link was sent for the third party company doing the booking and I managed to get it paid immediately. Basically this left us outside the property for close to 3 hours. The state of the house on entering was terrible. It had not been cleaned properly or no where close to it. Plates, glasses, cutlery were all dirty to the point we ate out for all meals including our coffee. Linen had stains all over, disgusting. The shower had pink slim build up and washing had been left in the washing machine which had a severe smell and resulted in me not doing the washing I had wanted to. The towels were full of holes and smelt terrible, thankfully we had our own. The air-conditioning units were pathetic and so loud they became pointless to use if trying to sleep.

Check-in is incredibly complicated! If you don't want to spend your whole day checking in, I would not recommend this place. Every half an hour we had a new message of what they need (Passport picture, credit card picture etc.). The garage code did not work and when calling in, the lady did not know the code either.
