About this house rental
Located 5 km from Gourdon, near the hamlet of Saint Romain, we invite you to stay in our spacious, charming family home. We’ve worked hard to create an atmosphere where you’ll feel right at home. We’ve furnished and decorated it with great care, as we also live here during certain times of the year. It’s the perfect choice for a vacation with family, friends, or as a couple. It’s ideally located for exploring the sights and “Most Beautiful Villages of France” in the Périgord Noir, Dordogne, and Lot regions. (Domme, La Roque Gageac, Sarlat, Rocamadour, St-Cirq Lapopie, Cahors, Figeac, the Padirac Chasm, the Lascaux Caves…). Located halfway between the Dordogne and Lot rivers, you’ll find a wide range of activities to enjoy, such as boat and kayak trips, cycling and mountain biking, hiking, hot-air balloon rides, and more. For horse lovers, there’s an equestrian center 4 km from the house. Shops and restaurants nearby.
The house is situated on 1.3 ha of land, with a fenced-in garden featuring a private pool (12 m x 6 m) and lounge chairs. A 25-m² terrace with a gas grill and a table for 10 people.
On the first floor, you’ll find a large living/dining room with a fully equipped kitchen and a SMEG stove. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms with double beds, along with a bathroom featuring a bathtub and a toilet. In the basement, there is a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, and a game room.
In the dovecote, there is a bathroom with a shower and toilet and a bedroom with twin beds.
In the basement of the tower, there is a small laundry room with a washer and dryer.

Had a fantastic holiday, house was fully equipped with everything we needed. Pool was great too and regularly cleaned, with a hammock and swing chair and plenty of loungers. Good location to visit the Dordogne and Lot region. Jeremy and Pauline were available when we had a problem following a storm. Weather was great too which made for a perfect holiday. I have great communication from the hosts. Thankyou for a lovely relaxing stay.
