Location was central to Grasmere so easy to use as a base. Cottage was clean and fully equipped.
The parking space allocated for the cottage was a bit tight

Location. Comfort. Warmth. Space. Basement washer-dryer. I met the owners. Lovely helpful couple.
Fire doors that auto-close. Very heavy. I would bring rubber door stops next time, but only use them when moving large items about like suitcases.
Shower could be stronger on the normal flow. I switched it to spray which was better. Also, there's no extractor fan. I opened the Velux roof window when showering, which are always hard to close.
Parking is a bit tight. I had to drive into the courtyard, reverse and turn near the entrance, then reverse into the Low Croft space by the wall. A car larger than my Kia e-Niro would struggle.

Nice location
Flat is a bit tired, the mattresses were very uncomfortable. Need replacing.
