Great place to stay. Would definitely go again.
Location was central to Grasmere so easy to use as a base. Cottage was clean and fully equipped.
The parking space allocated for the cottage was a bit tight

Lovely place. Great location. Minor difficulties.
Location. Comfort. Warmth. Space. Basement washer-dryer. I met the owners. Lovely helpful couple.
Fire doors that auto-close. Very heavy. I would bring rubber door stops next time, but only use them when moving large items about like suitcases. Shower could be stronger on the normal flow. I switched it to spray which was better. Also, there's no extractor fan. I opened the Velux roof window when showering, which are always hard to close. Parking is a bit tight. I had to drive into the courtyard, reverse and turn near the entrance, then reverse into the Low Croft space by the wall. A car larger than my Kia e-Niro would struggle.

Great location, quiet and sound proof house externally.
Hard beds and only one place to park, shower hot but could do with a bit more power. Little bit aged as per photos.

Modernised, cosy and comfortable. Well-equipped. Good starting point for walks.
End slot for parking a bit tricky if the slot next to it was full. However very useful to have a parking space!

Great location, well equipped and comfortable home
Great location with very comfortable rooms. It’s on 3 stories with plenty space. Had the exact same lounge suite as my in laws so we felt at home. Quiet area. Kitchen incredibly well equipped
we damaged our car trying to navigate into the tiny parking space. we have a larger car and the turning area was very tricky! More of an FYI to take caution than a complaint
