A lovely week in a gorgeous cottage.

Beautiful cottage. Well stocked with most things - a great selection of books and DVDs etc - kitchen things, crockery, utensils etc

The only one very mini minor thing was that there wasn't a big supply of toilet tissues - so we soon needed to buy our own. First-world problems! Oh, and I stressed out about the rubbish collection. The printed, laminated instructions talked about leaving the bin at the 'kerbside' 'behind' the property... and I found neither of those things... but the rubbish was collected from the front, no problem!

Lovely stay.

The location is perfect for visiting Grizedale forest. Out of the way, but a lovely village. Local pub was also good.

Smelt a little on entry, maybe because the entrance and kitchen is the lower ground floor. Parking a van is a little tricky. Yes there is parking, but with other visitors in the neighbouring cottage, it was very tight.

Perfect, just what was needed.

Very well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds.

A minor thing but new carpets in smaller room meant that door difficult to open/close and was a little noisy during the night.

Fabulous Lake District Cottage

Fabulous cottage with everything we needed for a stay in the Lake District. Great location for exploring the Windermere area and a fab local pub for evening meals. We had one very wet day but there were lots of board games and DVDs available to keep us entertained in the cosy cottage.

There was nothing we didn’t like - it was perfect for our stay.

We had a cosy and comfortable stay which was perfect for our family short break.

We liked it all. We did need to contact the agent to get WiFi code and couldn't understand how to manage the bathroom light.
