Bay Cosy

Location was excellent for the beach and close to a shop and local attractions within easy travelling times. The property was very well equipped, maintained and very clean

Everything was spot on

The house is like a tartis! It has loads of room to chill out, either by watching TV, reading a book or doing a puzzle at the dining table. It would have felt spacious even if we were at full capacity of 6. There were loads of great little touches, like a little bed for the dog, extras such as a takeaway cup, cute keyrings, slippers and a bamboo toothbrush and toothpaste. The kitchen cupboards had every utensil you could need and salt/pepper oils, tea towels etc all supplied. Great stuff! A smart TV and DVD's, games and puzzles supplied were all a bonus. Katee the manager was polite and helpful!

It's just a personal preference, but I found the bed a little too soft for my back. But the bedding was soft and lovely, which kind of made up for it.

Good accomodation in a quiet location very close to the Pevensey pebble beach with good access to Eastbourne and Hastings. Cosy and comfortable accomodation. Good sized kitchen, bedrooms and lounge with a conservatory and back yard.

Bathroom shower (in the master bedroom) was not able to mix hot and cold water. Very hot water flowing which would make having shower very difficult. Needs replacement.

Good location 5 minutes walk from the beach. The kitchen and main living area were clean and well equipped. The garden was small, but well maintained and pleasant to sit in. There was enough parking for 3 cars and the inside was much bigger than we thought it would be!

The main issue was the beds, which were not comfortable. The mattresses were lumpy and sagging. They seemed very old. The beds themselves were basic wooden slatted bed frames, which were not of high quality. My daughter's single bed was missing a slat in the middle so it curved up if she sat on it. We were given very thick duvets not suited to the weather. The bathrooms were also not ideal. The ensuite had a shower that did not adjust temperature accurately, so sometimes it was too hot or cold. The fabric shower curtains were rather strange. Int he main bathroom, one could not use the shower easily as there was no structure to hang it on and no shower screen. The bath took forever to empty as it was probably blocked.
