'Frankly My Dear' is a luxury oceanfront home offering all the amenities you could ever want for an unforgettable Outer Banks vacation. Take in the stunning panoramic ocean and sound views from the spacious decks and crow's nest. When you need a break from the beach, spend some time relaxing poolside, or soak in the hot tub under the stars.
The gourmet kitchen will provide the chef in your family with everything they need to prepare a memorable meal. Granite countertops, double ovens, 2 dishwashers, a Keurig coffee maker and breakfast and dining areas. The entire family will enjoy the entertainment amenities featuring a rec room with pool table, foosball table, wet bar, theatre room, satellite TV sports package, Wii game room, exercise room with recumbent bike, treadmill and elliptical machine with ocean views.
'Franky My Dear' is located just north of the Duck Research Pier and close to downtown Duck. The Town Park has a soundside boardwalk, a playground, gazebo, and picnic area. There is a path through the town for biking, walking, or inline skating. The quaint shops, art galleries, day spas, and fine seaside dining are some of the unique features of Duck.

We have stayed in OBX 15-20 times. This is a very nice house in a great oceanfront location. Pool area especially nice. Very comfortable home for our family of three generations - something for everyone.

We had ourselves and our two daughters families with two young children. The location and the house were perfect for our group. We loved the kitchen! Our only issues were the downstairs refrigerator was not cooling and it was not fixed while we were there. The griddle and n the kitchen was not working and was not fixed during our stay and the WiFi was super slow. We got better speeds using 5G. I would remove all the technology for the TV’s and switch to smart TV’s and stream. Everyone has their own streaming these days. We never could get the tv in the movie room to work. We are probably going to rebook next year. The place was perfect for our family. Thanks for sharing your home.

House is in a great location - great views, short walk to the beach and it's easy to get to other parts of the outer banks. Host needs to provide instructions on where to find broom, vacuum, etc. We wouldn't find these. There is a filthy small refrigerator next to the oven which needs to be removed. The two other large refrigerators worked well.We had to call the housekeeping team back to sweep and clean floors, stairs. Bathroom mirrors were not clean. We found a pack of cookies on a top bunk so we knew the bedding wasn't changed. Housekeeper informed us they do not change sheets on the top bunks. One dishwasher was still filled with dishes from the last renters. SEVERAL KEY THINGS WERE NOT WORKING to include: Elevator; ice maker; lower oven; all exercise equipment (bent plug for tread mill, missing cords to plug in other equipment); missing tv remotes for several TVs (to include the media room tv) so these were unusable. Griddle on the main stove doesn't heat. Grill on back deck doesn't light - you must use a lighter/match to light it. No hangers provided in closets - a small number of old, crusty beach chairs provided. On a positive note, the decks are nice, as is the pool (although I don't believe a pool company came mid-week to treat it with chemicals or vacuum it while we were there). We were told by Beach Realty this would occur. The elevator and ice machine were fixed but this was 2 days before we departed. We will rent elsewhere next summer.
