The listing made it seem like it was a casita in someone's back yard. Upon further investigation as the dates got closer, I learned that it a hotel and I think for people who need a place to stay, not for vacationers.1) There is a parking fee. I didn't realize until I actually got there, so I did not budget for that. They do however take it out of the refundable 100 deposit they do ask for upon check in.2) The pictures of the room are what you get. The room is cozy with a very comfortable bed. There were some run down parts: the one chair you get for the desk part was taped together and seats did have stains on them, and the full sized fridge had a leak somewhere. However, The kitchen was nice and they provided some cooking supplies: toaster, strainers, one pan, measuring cups, spoons, a knife, but no forks. A coffee pot. Their sink does have disposal. There is a dishwasher. I used it as a drying rack out of habit, so I can not say how well it works. 3) There is an odor in the hallway, but it does not leak into the room. 4)No daily cleaning. You take out your own trash that is on first floor in open container in hallway. Once a week people will leave their trash outside theirs doors for someone to pick up. That part was was REALLY gross and that smell never went away.5)They allow dogs AND cats. That part was neat.6)Never ran into anyone mean. Everyone we saw was genuinely kind.

This is a hotel, and is not at all what we expected. There were inaccuracies with the listing and I wouldn’t chose to stay here again

The check in process was smooth and the staff was nice! But the place smelled bad ( both throughout the hallways and in our room). Our room still had some dirty things from previous stay (ex: a discarded floss pick on the side of the bed that wasn’t ours). There was discarded soda boxes at the end of the hall that was clearly meant for the trash and it was pretty gross smelling— stains everywhere. Apparently it is quite close to Disneyland so that is a plus if that is your reason for staying. On the plus side— the bed seemed clean and the curtains are blackout for sleeping in. But for the price, I would choose somewhere else to stay.

I was surprised when I realized that this was a hotel. I assumed because of the lead picture of a patio with a barbeque grill that I would be staying in a mother-in-law suite or ADU. The property was clean and had what we needed in terms of appliances, but there were no amenities at all. No salt, no extra coffee (we had to ask), no cream (we had to ask), no lotion, no soap by the sink. If you are looking for a very simple suite with kitchenette, this works great. I will say, we were pleasantly surprised by the free laundry on site. Staff was friendly and I would probably book this again, but I would then know what I was getting into.

Getting to the hotel was a bit confusing because the listing said we were going to be staying in an apartment, though the hotel room was in the Sonesta Simply Suites. There was no information about where we were actually staying and the fact that in was a hotel, not an apartment. We did not venture out at night because we didn’t know how safe the surrounding area was; the hotel was very poorly lit at night. It wreaked of marijuana at night. The location was about a 12 minute Uber ride to Disney, so that was nice. All-in-all, it’s just not what we were expecting.
