Welcome to Casa Surfside in Carlsbad! Experience stunning Pacific Ocean sunsets, a 5-minute walk to the beach, and a private backyard jacuzzi in this Spanish-style family home. With 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and 2,500 SF, it offers exceptional indoor/outdoor living. Located near pristine beaches, Legoland, great restaurants, shopping, and cafes, it's an ideal retreat for up to nine guests. Unwind, recharge, and enjoy the perfect blend of Southern California beach living in this light-filled haven.
Main Level:
The main level boasts a spacious living and family room with vaulted ceilings, tasteful furnishings, and tile floors. Enjoy ample seating for lounging, a dining table for 6, and outdoor barbecuing with seating for 6. Step into the backyard oasis, featuring an outdoor shower and a 6-person jacuzzi. The bright, fully equipped modern kitchen offers a 65" TV, two gas fireplaces, and a 1/2 bath in the adjoining family room.
The Bedrooms:
The second level houses all four bedrooms with plush carpeting:
Master Bedroom & Bath: A private balcony, king bed, ensuite bath, large soaking tub, standing shower, 46" Smart Samsung TV, and ceiling fan.
2nd Bedroom: King bed, ceiling fan, and new 40" Smart Samsung TV.
3rd Bedroom: Queen bed, ceiling fan, and new 40" Smart Samsung TV.
4th Bedroom: Kid's room with two full bunk beds, a computer desk, and a new 40" Smart Samsung TV.
Guest Bathrooms: All bedrooms share a full bath with tub/shower on the 2nd floor, and there's an additional bathroom on the main floor.
The oversized garage transforms into a playful haven with basketball, a Street Fighter II game table, foosball, and a big-screen TV—perfect for family time. Child-friendly amenities include boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, and more for a fun day at the beach.
Enjoy the comforts of home with super-fast WIFI, premier linens, air conditioning, and Smart TVs in every room. Two driveway parking spaces, street parking, and a newly installed EV charger for Tesla and electric vehicles (J1772 adapter) add convenience.

Following CDC guidelines, we implement thorough cleaning and disinfection after each check-out. For added assurance, we provide cleaning products and feature a commercial-grade anti-allergen HEPA air purifier, capturing 99.97% of dust, dander, allergens, smoke, and odors.
The guest who reserves the home must be at least 25 years of age and will be required to review and sign a renter agreement and submit a photo ID within 72 hours of the booking reservation. The photo ID must match the credit card holder. A security deposit hold of up to $500 is also required in case of any damage.
Strict occupancy limit of nine guests total (including minors). Due to city ordinance, no visitors are allowed above the occupancy limit; only approved guests are allowed. This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. Parties and get-togethers above the maximum occupancy are strictly prohibited. Guests will be limited to 3 cars max (2 on the driveway and 1 in front of the house). Please do not park in front of our neighbors houses.
No pets may be brought into the house without written permission from the owner. The guest will be responsible for all damage caused by their pet.
No smoking (including cannabis) or drugs are to be used inside or outside this property.
The owner reserves the right to charge an additional cleaning fee up to the amount of the security deposit for smoking or pet violations.
Your safety matters. There are two security cameras recording 24/7 located on the exterior of the home: 1) a Nest camera doorbell located in the front door, and 2) a camera capturing the front of the house and driveway. No cameras are pointing towards the inside of the home.

We had a fabulous time at Casa Surfside. It’s great to be able to just walk to the beach. The kids loved it. They provided all of the beach equipment you could possibly want!!!It was great to have a hot tub for evening relaxation!The toy area was rewarding as well. Something for every age, our kids were 2,6 and 8.It was a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!Thank you Casa Surfside!

Nick’s property is in a fantastic location and an easy walk to the beach a short drive to Carlsbad Village. The property itself is beautiful and well maintained. We had our three grandbabies with us ages 6 1/2, 3 1/2, and two years old. The converted Garage as a playroom was fantastic for them. My oldest grandson particularly liked the oversized bunkbed situation. Would highly recommend this property based on all it had to offer in the friendly and accommodating owners.

The home is in an excellent location for a beach vacation. It had all the amenities you need to go the beach, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards , wagons etc. The garage is converted to a play area for kids with lots of games etc. The house has ceiling fans in the bedrooms which was very important to us because of my wife’s need for the room to be cool to sleep. Our fan didn’t work and after telling the owners about it they said that the remote needed a part that they couldn’t get until our stay was over. My question was why couldn’t they have a new remote installed but I never got a reply. After we checked out they said we had left a stain on a comforter cover and wanted us to pay for it. I felt that was unfair since our fan didn’t work and we basically went sleepless for the whole week. In the end the owners agreed to not make us pay since we had been inconvenienced with the fan issue. Our family had a great time there and I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a beach stay that’s not in the middle of a commercial setting
