A unique opportunity to rent a beautifully maintained 4-bedroom older home in Seattle’s Central District minutes from Downtown Seattle, Seattle University, and Swedish Hospital Cherry Hill.
This comfortable 4BR home is wonderful for families and friends coming in for that special event, wanting to take in the amazing food and activities of Seattle or adventure out of the city to ski or hike. This home is in a quiet centrally located urban neighborhood with a Walk Score of 95.
There is a sense of calm as you walk through the front door. We are excited to offer this home as a full house rental especially since the Central District rarely has properties that are larger than 2 bedrooms. Past guests of Spring Street Center may remember the high marks for cleanliness and prompt communication when it was rented by the room so we are thrilled that the same cleaning team will continue to caretake the property as a full home rental.

This home has a private entrance, but is attached to the Subud community center Chapel and meeting hall. No one has access to this rental home since the kitchen door has a double deadbolt (like an adjoining room in a hotel).

Located only 1.1 miles from downtown, but in a quiet neighborhood with a park and playground across the street and close to wonderful restaurants and easy access to grocery stores. People love our house and its charm and energy!

* If determined that a party took place on any of the nights reserved, reservation guest will be charged $500, no exceptions! Noise monitoring equipment is often used to identify loud parties/gatherings

What a nice place with a great location. We spent time exploring the neighborhood's food offerings and found amazing spots. The house was clean and cozy. Beds were super comfortable.

This is a unique property with a lot of space and a great location. There is a small park across the street, tons of nearby restaurants, and a quick drive to all the tourist hotspots. The bedrooms are spacious, the new washer and dryer worked great, and we never ran out of hot water.However, there are some drawbacks to the location, like parking. There were so many evenings when we would get back to the house to find that there was absolutely no space available in the zone designated on our pass. This nightly struggle really soured our entire stay in Seattle. Several nights we were forced to put the car in the driveway, blocking access to the garage and the sidewalk. One evening, we got a ticket for blocking the sidewalk. Parking was so stressful that the 69 parking ticket was totally worth it to not have to circle the neighborhood for 30 minutes before giving up. I emailed Karen before we arrived about parking, because I had a feeling it would be difficult, but she never replied.Another problem we had was with the A/C and the heat. They both worked well, but they are independent systems; and they were both on at the same time, competing with each other. I emailed Karen about it the evening we arrived, but she did not reply over the duration of our 10 day stay. Ultimately, I was forced to just unplug the thermostat for the heat so that it would shut off. When the weather cooled off, I plugged it back in.It was a good value, and I would stay again-- only without a car.

Parking is a problem. There is only one slot available and you have to roam around the block to find one. One of the bedroom had a very musky smell. The private bathroom does not lock.Otherwise it’s a nice cozy small place. Very close to the city.
