About this house rental
Lake front home with open floor plan perfect for large or multiple families. Quiet cove with deep water (7 feet off the end of the of dock). With 6 bedrooms, 4 baths, and 2 living areas, there's plenty of space for everyone to relax and play.
Main level has a well-equipped kitchen (think all of the items you need for most any big family gatherings including instant pot, crock pot, all of the blenders and waffle makers you can use) that opens to a spacious dining area (large table will accommodate 8 guests plus 6 at the bar) and great room with TV and chair, ottoman and sleeper sofa (Q).
The main living area walks out into a screened in porch with plenty of sitting areas that then walks out to a large deck with grill and 4 bar-height chairs to enjoy the water view. Main level also includes a wine fridge and a second fridge in the pantry room to accommodate large groups. The master bedroom (K) with walk in rain head shower and two bedrooms with four sets of twin bunks to sleep eight across from a full bath make up the rest of the first floor.
Lower level has a 2nd TV area with sectional sofa, table for playing games, basketball hoop and plenty of open space which opens into a full length patio. In addition, the lower level offers three additional bedrooms, all with king beds, with two additional full size baths with stand up showers. There is an extra large laundry room offering lots of storage.
Walk out the back of the lower level to reach the 10 person hot tub on a spacious patio and a path to the fire pit and dock.
Both upstairs deck and lower level patio face the lake and are perfect for outdoor dining and entertaining. The dock is perfect for swimming or just sitting enjoying the breathtaking views. Dock has, good Wi-Fi, a TV, fridge, and plenty of storage and counter space.
Lake front area has large grass area with fire pit. Kayaks (4 singles and 2 doubles) are available for use but renters assume all risk, liability, and responsibility. Large water trampoline will be available for use seasonally.
Five minutes from grocery store, ABC store, coffee shop, ice cream store (seasonal), gas station, boat rental and restaurants. Just over an hour from Raleigh, NC and Richmond, VA. No Pets. No Smoking. Home has Smart TVS with Hulu TV and high speed Wi-Fi throughout the property.

Great home, great dock and all round great time was had by everyone involved..If I owned the home, I’d have a nice pool table or ping pong table downstairs in place of tge additional dining table..but that’s just a personal preference.

This house was perfect for our 16 people. House was very accommodating. The dock is most excellent.. very pleasant on extremely hot days with the 3 fans. Caught several large catfish and lots of small fish. They had everything we needed except a large ice maker. Bring a large cooler for store-bought ice if you have more than 8 people. Would rent again.. loved being in a large culdesac for boating and tubing.

Every detail small and large is what makes this house exceptional! We had never vacationed to Lake Gaston so we were unsure how it would be. This is a beautiful home with beautiful decor, the dock, the bar, the lake all amazing, and the couches and beds all so perfect to sink into after a fun day in the water. (All the adult beds being king size is the best!) The kitchen is equipped with everything you can think of! We had our entire family of 8 adults and 5 kids, from 3 months old to 6 years old and grandparents, everyone of us had the best time! The location is perfect we felt comfortable having the kids swim because it is not a high boat traffic area. Navigating the culvert is hard in a pontoon but as long as you have a couple adults and take it slow it works out. Communication was quick with owner when we had a few questions! Everything was just perfect I just can’t say enough good things, I hope we are lucky enough to book this home again for our next family vacation!
