Property was clean , fairly new, comfortable, and right near Carowinds. The staff was excellent, provided extra pillows and blankets, greeted us at Breakfast. Breakfast was good with a wide variety. Pool was open until 11 so we got to dip in after the amusement park on a hot day. The biggest surprise is I put a request on every hotel booking for years to “have a picture of Mr. Miyagi on the night stand”. Years, I did this with no luck until this booking. Jenny the Assistant Manager made this happen. Total surprise! Loved it!

Location was convenient
Pool was not open and dirty - when I asked the front desk at check in if it would be open I was told “good question it should be, it’s a great weekend for it”
No bath towels available to replenish the bathroom on a Saturday evening
Breakfast - on Saturday morning they were out of waffle mix by 745, breakfast started at 7
