Proper off grid cabin life

From the start it went well - communications with the owner were spot on - advising of access and what we needed to know during our stay at the cabin. Directions were great and easy to follow - Cabin was down a single farm track - lovely location in its own gated and fenced gardens. Close enough to civilisation that you didn't feel to remote. Wandering in the garden having a coffee at the start of the day was beautiful - watching the many birds whizzing around singing happily. The cabin itself was perfect cracking veranda that you could chill on and watch the world go by, great couch and tv for after a hard day hiking in the many hills in the local and not to distance area. Kitchen was great fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Fridge is a small under the counter one so don't take to much fridge food with you. Bedrooms - beds - linen all fantastic good quality and smelt fantastic. Top of the tree was the sunken hot tub - great to start the day in then pretty much essential / luxury to finish the day after hiking all day. Wi-fi was perfect didn't miss a beat - tv's - laptops & phones all using at the same time - super quick.

Loved it all - even if there had have been an issue the owners would have happily sorted.

Perfect

Lovely remote location, not overlooked. Lots of wildlife and birds. Lovely little stream running alongside the property. WiFi was an excellent service provided as phone signal was low in the area

The farm over the road was a bit hostile, we parked on their front when we were first approaching the lodge (we were worried we were lost) to get our bearings and were vacated promptly! Luckily the lodge was only about 50 yards further on the track

Such a cosy feel to it and had everything we needed for our stay. The hot tub makes it extra special.

What can I say it was perfect

It was so peaceful so well presented . Very clean andra & chris was always On hand if you needed them but never Intrusive. A great place to come back to after a day of sightseeing To relax and unwind in the amazing Hot tub. We took are dog daphne and she loved It the grounds are great . We had a visit from rabbits,squirrel’s . We will definitely be back.

Magical - an absolute gem

The hosts had the best hospitality which made the stay very enjoyable. The cabin is secluded and you have your very own private space, an absolute gem! Even better if you want to do the three peaks challenge, the cabin is only about 30 mins away from it!
