Location was perfect, everything we needed.
The shower was awful, swinging from freezing to scalding. The bathroom lights were difficult to get to stay.

It was an authentic miners cottage. So we could soak up the atmosphere. The shower room was very good and we loved the fact that we could just walk to some attractions.
The internet wasn’t working. So we couldn’t watch tv or use our devices.

The property was a great location, secluded with views of sea. It was a very cosy cottage and perfect for us, with our toddler.
It had everything you would need for a stay, although it was a major problem, but there were not any dishwasher tablets provided.
Good amount of street parking available. We would definitely come back again.
It is old, as expected, so that comes with a level of difficulty to clean. It requires a thorough clean, particular behind and under furniture.
The shower was adequate, previous reviews state the pressure was poor. It was the most powerful shower but it works and got hot! The shower requires a deep clean, as grouting and seal were quite mouldy.
The mattress in the main bedroom is not very comfortable and you could feel the springs when laying down. However the single twin bedroom, the mattress was great.

Delightful location with beautiful views over the sea. Small shops and pub nearby. Easy to get to St Ives, Penzancw and the Minack Theatre. The old stone cottage was a delight to stay in.
I personally found the 'smart TV' difficult to negotiate, but with help from the owners it all worked out in the end. Also getting to the downstairs loo in the night was a bit of a pain, but that's the way the cottage was designed. Please make these features clear to future (elderly) guests.

I came with my family . We loved the place and the facilities were available in the property . Local people were so friendly and helpful.
The host was not available. I had some questions but I didn’t receive any reply.
Small beds were very comfortable, but the king size bed was very noisy and uncomfortable.

Super light and airy rooms.
Lovely to have Cornish tea, coffee and ginger biscuits as a welcome pack.
Downstairs toilet and shower.
Steep stairs
Difficult to lock the front door from the outside.

Location was excellent for visiting places we wanted to see. There was everything in cottage to make our stay comfortable & pleasurable. Easy access via key safe with clear instructions. Very clean with all to hand. Loved this wonderful cornish cottage. Highly recommend.
Unfortunately due to height of some beams & family members, heads got banged but leant quickly to duck.

Well fitted out with everything we needed for a home from home
Upstairs was very warm at night as we didn't realise the hot water was switched on until the 2nd day but it was fine once we switched it off

The property is an authentic cottage with all the benefits and disadvantages of this. The location was great for walking , you could visit the ruins of a mine down the street and it was very close to a very nice pub. The cottage itself has been modernized and this has been done respecting the original building. It is a nice place for 2 -3 adults or a small family (2 adults 2 small children), more than that and it becomes very crowded. They had provided a space heater for the living room, which was much needed during our visit and particularly nice in the mornings and during the storm, as the heating was a little random. The fireplace is very cozy and gave a nice feeling to the space. The kitchen is small as expected, while it was equipped with the necessary appliances.
The main issue we had was that there was virtually no water pressure for the hot water, so washing was difficult and showering almost impossible. This was very frustrating and had the biggest impact on our stay. During our stay, there was also a storm, so needed the heating, which seemed to go on and off at random times. Also during the rain the window at the front of the house leaked, leaving puddles of water on the window sill. While the house was clean it smelled damp and musty most of the time. We were there in the early spring and the street in front of the house was already full of parked cars, but we were able to park each day.

Great location and the property reflected the mood of the area - real sense of former mining community
Disappointing to see smaller touches missing - no teabags in house for example, one toilet roll. Very basic compared to other properties we stayed in during our time in Cornwall.

Cosy cottage perfect for a winter trip to Cornwall, snug lounge with wood burner and comfy furniture. Easy access to St Ives (via beautiful coastal road) Penzance and Newlyn.
Nothing it was perfect

Quiet, good location and mostly comfortable beds (although one was broken but fortunately we did not need it).
Grubby house generally. Very dirty kitchen floor, filthy windows, dog hair everywhere, one sitting room chair stinking of urine, tired dirty sitting room furniture, dirty crockery, dirty cutlery, two toilet rolls for six nights and very limited water pressure for the shower.

The location is great for exploring the coast in west cornwall.
The pub up the road was good with excellent food. Good wifi.
The cottage looked like it needed a good deep clean. I am aware that it is a dog friendly cottage but the chairs and settee
needed a shampoo . The furnishings and carpet are tired now and could do with replacing.

I fell in love with this property and it's surroundings straight away. So full of character. Plenty of space in all bedrooms. Lovely shower (great water pressure). Sublime coastal walk to Cape Cornwall from your doorstep. Three cracking pubs within easy walk. Great internet connection and smart TV. Plenty of parking space. We just got back and tonight I'm already planning a visit later in the year.

The cottage was light and airy with sea views in the distance from all rooms. The space in kitchen was good for communal eating and cooking.
The garden was lovely to sit in. Beds were comfy and the lounge was also lovely and cosy for a big of television or reading.
Great location for visiting the southern parts of Cornwall.
It’s not a major issue but the bathroom door which is downstairs and in main hallway, opening outwards was awkward at times.

little chilly , but once bought wood and got the fire going , it was nice and warm

The house was left for us in a brilliant state, the wood fire was left ready to light, everything was clean and there was even fresh milk for us left in the fridge!
A proper cosy and comfortable place to be! With an amazing sea view just at the end of the road.
Only one thing... The toilet seat was broken and nearly threw us off the toilet a few times! Lol

This didn’t bother me but the stairs are well steep and awkward particular if you want to get bags up and down
A bit Smokey from the fireplace even though the fire wasn’t used

Mooie locatie, dicht bij de zee. Rustige straat.
Achterstallig onderhoud, zoals de vloerbedekking. Gordijnen en kussentjes niet allemaal schoon.
