Apartamento Porticada

The host was waiting outside the building for us, we arranged the time in advance and confirmed it once landed. We have been provided with a telephone number via booking.com in order to make sure we can stay in touch once in the country. The host spoke good enough English to explain everything, took a deposit and returned it as per agreement. Location was great for us as we have stayed for almost two weeks. Big supermarket within 5min walk. Walk to the beach was less than 10min, a lot restaurants and bars to chose from, all within the walking distance. About 15min walk to coach station if you would like to explore Alicante or Torrevieja. Friendly people and calm town compare to the big loud neighbours, perfect for a relaxing holiday.

Couple loud pubs just outside of the place but can't help it. The mattress needs changing, worn out springs. The balcony door didn't lock. I'm guessing they have done that because people have locked themselves out before but you are high enough not to worry about the safety. Also worn out beach equipment. I was just worried that we will get charged for it by the host when they took the deposit.

La situación, las terrazas y la atención del personal

Estaba un poco descuidado, a la ventana del baño, justo en la bañera le faltaba un trozo de cristal. El colchón de la cama de matrimonio necesita ser cambiado. La puerta del baño pequeño estaba toda estropeada por el agua en la parte de abajo

All furnishings/sheets etc very cheap and basic and sofa and beds not comfortable. Sheets were so thin and not pleasant. En suite shower room tiny and shower unusable -rusty pole and rusty base and super small - very unpleasant. Kitchen was really a large cupboard Overall the bare minimum has been spent on this apartment - so not very pleasant. Also only one set of keys provided which made life difficult. Whilst there was air con in lounge there was none in either bedroom.
