Pleasant Holiday Flat

The apartment is clean and comfortable for a small family with everything you need. The hosts communicated very well and clearly. The flat is well stocked with your essential needs, though laundry detergent if you use the washing machine would be good. Beds are comfy and the internet works well.

The only niggle is that parking is in a pay and display which in a small village seems odd, especially as it runs from 8am to 8pm (probably reflects heavy summertime tourism). As such, it could be a problem ensuring you don't get fines. Obviously not a problem with the property just a niggle.

Drove 6 hrs 20 from bottom of Hampshire for a funeral, couldn’t check in until 5pm so nowhere no to change then checkout

Lovely Island experience but poor value accomodation

Not much

Noisy location on a busy main road. First impression was a well worn and dirty hall mat. Sofas in living room smelt , were worn and tatty. Property was dusty, needed proper cleaning. Had to strip bedding and put with towels and tea towels when leaving as there were instructions left by the owners. We did this but felt it was cheeky Carpets were well worn in places and needed a good vacuum. Beds were uncomfortable and bedding was of a poor quality especially the pillows The TV had basic channels only, expected more for the price paid, at least Netflix. Feel that the owners need to pay for a proper cleaning service that includes the bedding. Had to pay for parking which added to the cost of staying here.l Not much to do in this location. Pretty depressing compared to the rest of the island. The flat is next to the fire station but there were no call outs while we were there

Clean, convenient and comfortable

The appartment had everything we needed (and more). Was clean and comfortable, especially the beds (which is always my main complaint when away from home). Location was perfect, there's everything you need within minutes of walking. Can recommend and I will definitely book again next time if it's free.

A minor inconvenience is parking but only because the pay by phone app doesn't work on non-uk phones. If the local car park had a card payment option, that would be perfect but it really wasn't an issue. I would maybe update the welcome instructions with this (that paybyphone works fine over web) for us foreigners as it's something that worried me a bit beforehand and turned out not to be an issue. Also that overnight parking is free from 8pm to 8am.

Beautiful hidden gem of an apartment in a fantastic location.

Fantastic location in the centre of the village- perfect for exploring the whole island. The apartment was spotless, spacious, comfortable and a real home from home! The owners have gone to so much trouble to add extra touches for their guests and it feels so cosy.

Perfect base for a weekend break at Menai Bridge

Very well equipped, very clean, comfortable and cosy. We had the upstairs apartment and felt immediately ‘at home’. We had a lovely weekend there.

Very little to dislike - the bathroom door needs a bit of attention (stiff and catching on floor making it difficult to shut). Nothing to do with the property itself - but we had a parking ticket after falling foul of a parking attendant by just 12 mins after 8am on a Sunday, so beware. Otherwise, absolutely great and would be happy to stay again and recommend.

Perfect base to explore the island, beautiful spacious apartment, well kept, well equipped and very clean,extremely comfortable bed and nice quiet space to rest and recuperate from exploring... was a perfect home away from home

Parking had to be paid for by 8am . There were patrols monitoring parking tickets early each morning. For older people accessing the toilet during the night was awkward due to stairs but this won’t be an issue for most people .

Car parking ....having to pay from 8.00am onwards which means either an early start or a trip out at 7.55 to buy ticket although the cost was reasonable. Not much fun if raining .

Great size with plenty of room. Washing machine has a dryer setting on it which was fantastic.

Be careful booking this as it’s incredibly steep. there are 3 flights of stairs you have to climb and there is no bathroom on the same floor as the bedrooms. if you have any mobility issues or don’t like walking down flights of stairs for the bathroom in the middle of the night then don’t book! It’s a bit expensive for what’s offered. It’s not exactly in a busy city and you have to pay for parking. I believe it’s run by an agency that has priced it to compete with hotels and this ain’t a hotel! You are also living above another unit.

I had an amazing stay at this place!

This place has everything you are looking for! It has a very cozy and spacious living room. The kitchen has all the appliances you need. It’s also very spacious and even have another TV near the dining table. The bedrooms in the second floor are very clean and nicely decorated. I loved the bathroom too! I loved everything in this house!

Cosy apartment in vibrant Menai location

Brilliant location for a base into Anglesey. The hosts went above and beyond, providing a comfortable apartment with extras - from board games, xbox, and netflix, to cereals, milk, tea and coffee. We were slightly worried about the location as it's on a busy road, but we had a peaceful night so absoutely no problem! The town itself has a lot to offer, with shops, restaurants, pubs and nice areas for walks.

No parking on sight - wasn't an issue for us this time as we stayed less than 48 hours, but it would make us think twice if we wanted to stay for longer.
