Beautiful Spacious Home with Stunning View

We all enjoyed our stay at the property, the location is great for access to Menai Bridge and surrounding areas. Views from the house are amazing and would definitely stay here again.

We'd definitely recommend this place as somewhere to stay and it suited us perfectly. A great base from which to explore, a very quiet neighbourhood, and fantastic views! The only issues we had were with things not getting attended to when they were raised. Firstly we had car issues getting there which meant we didn't arrive until after 1am and the host had very kindly left the lights on - it's just that the address was given to us as a house name which was not written anywhere on the building itself and it fact it was number 28 which we'd not been given! That meant it took us 15 minutes in the early hours of the morning trying to identify the house in the dark and not going up to the wrong house! The next morning we noticed a wasps nest right above the main door and near where we'd sit outside. We reported it and the host didn't know what to do so I told him and he got it sorted quickly so all turned out good. Asked about the rubbish collection and how recycling worked as here were no instructions for anything at the house. I was told that he'd find out yet never heard anything more. We had the most impractical cylindrical bin in the kitchen which meant we simply filled an open bin liner on the floor instead, which wasn't great. and we had to take a guess as to how the recycling worked - but it didn't seem like we had the same recycling bins as our neighbours! So we probably binned more than we should have - which is not how we live at home and felt alien and wrong. We also had an issue with the bathroom light switch not working properly - it wouldn't always turn on or off. Reported than and had a reply that an electrician would look at it but that's the last we heard. Thankfully there was a second light above the shower or we'd be using the bathroom in the dark, but the extractor was wired to the non-working switch so we never had that working. We didn't use the oven much but in the middle of the holiday we hit a problem when the timer would reset itself after a few minutes of cooking and as it's electric that meant the oven turned off and wouldn't come back on again. In fact you could hear a relay clicking. Reported this and had no reply at all. Finally we had asked in advance of our stay if there was a BBQ. The host very kindly bought a brand new one for us - but left it in its box which meant I had to assemble it myself which took an hour out of my holiday to do! So a fantastic place to stay, but be prepared to live with any issues!

Amazing views, friendly and helpful communication with owners. Kitchen and bathroom are quite new. Other furnishings are good. Plenty of space. Some general maintenance needed and cleaning was not great. Deep clean really needed!

Nice area, nice house garden was class, lovely little views all around the house, wasn’t far from the shops.
