Disappointing although maintenance people were helpful

Spacious lounge and kitchen. Prompt attention to the issues.

Bedrooms - expected a twin room and a double room, but the double room had a single bed in it; rooms smelt of smoke; mattresses were very soft. Upstairs toilet: bolt broken. Lounge: no remote control for the TV. Kitchen: most of pots are scratched and the kettle and extractor fan were not working. Bathroom: flies everywhere, smelt of sewage, showerhead broken, water leaked from shower door and shower cubicle after use and wet paint on walls. Outside - lots of rubbish including cigarette ends, plastic packaging full of flies and chicken bones.

Unloved apartment, not recommended for holiday accommodation

It was clean.

Doesn’t state it is a townhouse, would not have chosen it if we knew as I have respiratory issues and the stairs were steep. Facilities were lacking, only 2 teaspoons and 2 forks, microwave didn’t work, TV remote batteries were dead on arrival, bedroom lamp didn’t work which turned out to be a loose bulb, no towel rail in bathroom, empty soap or washing up liquid containers. Very few sockets so extension leads everywhere and the plugs hanging in mid air didn’t look safe. Dining room table only had 3 chairs. Heating control hanging off wall, broken plasterwork where pictures once hung, smelly waste water overflow onto patio seating area which had household rubbish on top of its surrounding wall. Everywhere we have been previously stayed has a welcome pack, a map of where local amenities are, some recommendations and leaflets for places to see. This apartment had none of those. If I was staying for business that wouldn’t be a problem but for a holiday stay it matched the other poor aspects of this property. Written description as 2 singles in bedroom 2 and a double bed in bedroom 1, although pictures show the actual arrangement of 1 single in bedroom 2 and a double and single in bedroom 1. For a family of 4 it would involve moving the wardrobe as well as the single bed from bedroom 1 to rearrange. Details say boasting a private entrance, which for a self-contained apartment is not unusual, but the private entrance itself was nothing to boast about. Check-in system required the provision of photo-id and online signature before code would be released at 1 minute past checking time. Never seen this before and I would cancel any booking like this in the future.

Not a good stay.

We brought our own.

Everything, dirty, smelt of smoke, really needed updating, very warm, TVs did not work. Too many flight of stairs. Steps down to flat very dangerous especially for elderly people.

This house is in desperate need of a makeover and decorating along with some serious plumbing issues and new furniture, There is an awful smell coming from the kitchen this is the 3rd property from KG i have used and not to their standards by far most dissapointed

Disappointing for the money asking for it.

Outside was untidy and smelly bins left at the front of the property. Is a was a little difficult to find as the door number is not clear from the road. The heating was not working and unfixable. Plus the sofa's were broken & uncomfortable needs replacing. Outside chairs & table needs some attention. Cleaning or replacing

A bit of a distance from Swansea City centre and no car so a little costly to travel but toward end of stay found buses so cheaper

Marvellous

perfect quiet location, only 5-10 minutes away from the city centre and all the big shops and takeaways within walking distance. Very clean and welcoming environment.

Could have better sofas, as one was broken and the other was a bit wobbly. Living room could do better with bigger TV but overall fantastic stay.

Holiday apartment with potential

The property was clean and living areas spacious, although having the dining table in the kitchen would have made life easier. The kitchen itself had ample storage with an efficient fridge-freezer & washing machine. Sachets of tea, coffee & sugar were provided. The beds were comfortable & shower good. Decoration was fresh. The location is only 15-20 minutes from Mumbles & close to 2 large supermarkets. The staff were all excellent, both online & in person, when extra bedding for the sofa bed was required. They certainly deserve a shout out.

Crockery & cutlery was very basic: only 1 teaspoon, 3 random glasses & 3 mugs! The only kitchen knife was enormous, but blunt, necessitating a local purchase. The recliner sofa was broken. As the property was on 3 floors with steep stairs, it would be helpful to provide stair gates for families with toddlers. A highchair would also be appreciated. The outside area needs proper bin storage as there were a number of full refuse sacks torn open. Hopefully the overgrown garden will soon be tackled. It’s enormous & could be a lovely addition.

Terrible -- don't book this place.

There was no warning that the facility had three floors, with bathrooms separated from sleeping spaces. The two bedrooms were tiny. The furniture was rickety, the kitchen pots dirty, the dishware inadequate for four persons. The outside areas had bags of garbage which had been pecked open by birds. Cigarette butts all over the grounds. No air conditioning at all.

Stairways between floors were dangerously long and steep.

Gorgeous get away perfect holiday home

The house was gorgeous the kitchen beautiful, white shiny tiles with black grout with all amenities 2 toilets 1 downstairs and 1 upstairs saves a trip all the way down the stairs of a night time 😝 very spacious kitchen and living room which had a TV and WiFi with a gorgeous table and 4 chairs a pullout double bed sofa which we didn't know about till our last night 😍 as myself and hubby had to sleep in single beds being ya last minute booking it was OK no problem, there is 3 single beds 1 in 1 bedroom and 2 in the other with a wardrobe and chest of drawers, in the other bedroom it only had a large chest of drawers again not a problem for us, due to lock down and nothing being open for a good few months I checked all 3 beds incase of any unwanted visitors 😂 and all 3 beds was spotlessly clean with all white bedding on, the whole house was spotless couldn't fault it at all I loved the white wooden effect blinds looked very beautiful, during our stay it was boiling hot but wow the kitchen really proved out to be a godsend after a day at the beach it was lovely and cold however the table and chairs where up stairs in the living room, giving the size of the kitchen a table and chairs would fit nicely in there to eat your food at instead of carrying it up stairs. The garden had 2 small pub like metal tables and 5 chairs very useful of an evening or first thing in the morning, the garden is concreted over to resemble a patio area which we wasn't aware until our second day early afternoon at around about 1.30 we had neighbours lol who also shared the garden a shock at first as we wasn't aware but we all got on very well and had some pleasant mornings and evenings together chatting.

The only downside purely as I can't walk far due to disability was the stairs, first the steep steps leading down to the garden which was where the front door was, then a flight up to living room and another separate flight going up to bedrooms other than this this was nothing we didn't like, plus it was a last minute booking so honestly can't complain but just mentioned incase of people with problems with mobility might find it difficult 😊
