Amazing rental house! Terrible rental company to work with

The house is lovely, well stocked with useful things and pleasantly decorated. I stayed with my family and we really enjoyed the space and location.

The Vacasa people were terrible. They sent so many emails with links that don't work and when I replied they just sent the same email over and over again while threatening to cancel my reservation if I didn't sign the rental agreement. I told them so many times that the links don't work. I tryed from several devices. Finally I called and waited on hold for more than 30mins to resolve the issue.

A Pleasant Guest House

Great location, lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Easy walk to the Fremont Troll. Nice to have the back deck where we could sit out and get a breeze and where we were able to have dinner. Mattresses on the beds were very comfortable. Everything was very clean, and the decor was fun and comfortable.

Two things: First, the on-line description says that there is street parking available, but doesn't mention that, from 7 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday, parking is time-restricted to two hours unless you have a pass; I wasn't thrilled that I had to keep an eye on the clock so that I could make sure to move the car every two hours; the description should mention this fact, or guests should be provided a parking pass; I called Vacasa to ask about it, but no one ever responded. Second, it went into the upper 80s the two days that we were there; the absence of any fans in the house made it very warm inside until, towards the middle of the night, things cooled off outdoors; I understand that, except for a window unit in the second floor office/TV room, the house is not air conditioned, and that temperatures in the upper 80s in Seattle may be unusual, but the absence of any way to move air around made things somewhat uncomfortable in the late afternoons and early evenings during our two-day stay.

Great, clean place in great Fremont neighborhood!

The house has enough space for the family, in a quiet residential neighborhood but still walking distance from quite a few cute restaurants. Plenty of street parking and very clean!

Check in time is later than most properties (4pm) and no flexibility due to COVID. Check out was also quite early (10am) compared to other options.
