Alcudia is a great place to base yourself for exploring the northern part of the island. A very nice old town in Alcudia - I recommend visiting it. Can Gaya is a very nice villa, it can accommodate 9 people just fine. Right next to the port of Alcudia. There are many pubs and restaurants in the area, many of them open also in winter. 15 minutes walk to the beach. The beach is very nice and wide. There are 4 bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and 3 large and comfortable bathrooms. Everything was incredibly clean. Well-equipped kitchen, although there could be more glasses and cutlery, because for 9 people, one meal was missing - before the dishwasher washed. It was great that there were basic things available such as salt, oil, spices, tea, coffee, sugar, dishwasher tablets, soap, etc. There was a table tennis table in the garage. The swimming pool looks very nice, although we did not use it because it was too cold in January. Interesting garden with cacti. Nicely arranged space outside the house, shaded terrace, lots of deckchairs. We just didn't know that the deposit had to be paid in cash, but the host was so nice that he agreed to accept a transfer. The deposit was refunded very quickly after departure.
