Lovely stay at the Kings Arms. I got a warm, friendly welcome from the moment I arrived, and the staff couldn't do enough for me. The food was excellent, really well cooked with generous portions and good value. The bar was cosy and relaxed, just what you want from a traditional inn. My room was clean, comfortable and quiet, and I slept really well. It even came with a garden view, if you count a garden roughly the size of a pub table, but I loved it all the same. It was a great base for a night in Stratton, and I'd definitely stay again.
Nothing at all.

Staff friendly.
No parking available despite listed as such, managed to park on street across road. Room overlooks very busy and noisy road.
Paid for room and breakfast on arrival, then tried to charge me again for breakfast on dinner bill, also asked me to pay again in morning(lack of communication between staff).
Macerator in bathroom also noisy.
Dinner ok but nothing to get excited about, breakfast the same, no juice no marmalade. Ok but not sure value at £9.99
