Interesting place to stay.

A great place to base for exploring the area and the Matra musee. Interesting old building with history... including the old spiral staircase. Good kitchen facilities downstairs - though we didn't use.

A great experience in a very charming house.

Beautiful old house decorated with taste. Hosts thought of everything. The narrow winding stairs added to the charm. Just bring light luggage up and leave the rest downstairs (there is a lovely kitchen/family room on first floor). Breakfast was great. Hosts were helpful and very responsive. We enjoyed our stay.

It was a bit hot in the room as it was a hot day. Owners provided air cooling units and fans which helped greatly. The shades on the skylights also were wonderful both for keeping the room cooler and getting a good night sleep. The toilet area is very small and you might have to leave the door open if you are a tall person.

Ideal for a short stay.

Everything was provided for breakfast, to go with the items I had brought from home. Also, the very kind lady on the phone who talked me to the property as I got totally lost!

I knew about the winding staircase, and I was on the top floor. So it took two journeys to get my bags up there. It also meant that as there is no toilet on the ground floor, off the communal room, I had to go back up to the third floor again...bit of a trek!

Authentic house with nice interior and atmosphere

Cozy apartment, which is housed in an old authentic house with nice interior. The rooms themselves are spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. I particularly appreciated the blend of modern amenities with the traditional charm of the house.

Very nice room

room was very nice with good shower and tea / coffee making facilities, a good size for 2 people and was very clean. kitchen and breakfast bar was shared with other guests but was well serviced and kept very clean and tidy. Although host was not on site the communication was good before and during stay.

there was a communal rubbish collection area just outside the property which was over full and a bit messy but not smelly so just an eyesore really. Not sure if collection of rubbish had not occurred due to French strikes. parking in the town was expensive but managed to find a free car park in the end- would be good if host highlighted the location of the free car park. a bit dark in the bathroom area of the room but not a major issue for a short stay.

The building and structure is old yet seems robust (bit squeaky though). Room is very well oragnized, clean and decent. Room is equipped with coffer machine with 2 complementary coffee cartridge. Bed is spacy enough for a person and room is equipped with USB charger outlet for smart phones.

I stayed in a room on the top floor. Bath tab is placed in the right center of the bed room and to use shower, curtain needs to be used to avoid spreading water in the room but the bath tub was tiny for me.

the property is not permanently staffed so you let yourself in and out, breakfast was not good, with no tea or coffee, and eggs but no way to cook them. surely they could get fresh bread and or croissants delivered and provide instructions on how to operate the hob

STUNNING.... Apartment is absolutely beautiful, loved the original features within our room, fresh smelling linen and very comfortable bed. Tea/coffee facilities in room and also in shared kitchen. Hosts communicated well with us relating to questions we had relating to parking and restaurants. 5 stars from me 💕

This wasn’t a problem for us but this property is unsuitable for anyone with even minimal mobility issues. I think this should have been more clear in the description.

Ancient house in the centre of town, imaginatively refurbished.

Very well located in the centre of town, a lovely ancient house which has been imaginatively renovated. Very nice kitchen area and the lemon/mint water was much appreciated. Although the host was not present, we accessed the room OK and they were very responsive via the booking.com messaging system.

There is a paid carpark right outside which is helpful, but it required me to download an app in order to use it. Although this is not really anyone's fault, it was very hot the night we stayed and it was hard to cool the room down - a fan would have been useful.

everything!! this is an exceptional property. enormous thought has gone into making the stay comfortable in ever way and it’s incredibly stylish in an unusual way. brilliant breakfast and cooking facilities and provision, gorgeous room and lovely owners.

The design of the building and the interior. Having the key entering was good.

The stairs were very steep and narrow, not good for carrying a large suitcase. The room was beautifully decorated but not necessarily practical. The toilet area was very small, using the kettle was difficult under the eaves of the roof and the small sofa was not practical to sit in under the eaves. These things could easy be rectified with moving some of the furniture. It would have been nice to have had a small table on the right hand side of the bed. The communal kitchen and sitting area not sure how that would have worked if all the guests wanted to use the kitchen at the same time. We would not have used any of the open packets of things e.g. butter and rusks

J'ai beaucoup aimé la décoration. L'endroit a beaucoup de charme, est très chaleureux et confortable. Tout est bien pensé et nous avons eu droit à de délicieuses viennoiseries pour le petit déjeuner. Quant à l'emplacement, il est idéal.

Varié et bon, un système personnalisé avec chacun son bac en frigo , pour le pain on ne sait pas si c'est pour un couple ou plusieurs. formule qui manque de convivialité

Pas aimé l'escalier trop rustique et étroit pas facile avec des bagages et l'isolation phonique est très moyenne, nous entendons bien les voisins et la circulation urbaine. La baignoire dans la chambre manque d'un tapis anti dérapant dans baignoire et pour en sortir c’est galère.

agréable séjour

agréable séjour, bien situé au calme, chambre bien décorée qui a conservé son charme d'antan, petit déjeuner au RDC très complet, il ne manquait de rien, (à notre arrivée, nous avons accédé avec un code) mais avons croisé le propriétaire le jour du départ, très sympathique. Place de parking en face pour notre véhicule
