It’s a wonderful “hideaway” where you can truly unwind.
Vincent takes excellent care of you: a great breakfast, and on evenings when there’s no set menu, you can enjoy a generously filled plate, including rillettes of your choice.
I stayed in the “Ambre” suite. It’s located under the roof, has excellent, discreet air conditioning, and offers a great view of the courtyard and the beautiful estate.
Suggestions for the surrounding area: The estate is an excellent starting point for exploring the fascinating chateaux of the Loire-et-Cher region. Romorantin itself has a great museum dedicated to the history of MATRA. It’s just a few minutes’ drive away. Anyone interested in the universe should definitely visit the Nançay Radio Observatory with its fascinating visitor center, the “Pôle des Étoiles Nançay.”
