dirty, noisy, stinky, plus they overcharge your card.

pro: there are shops (groceries and alcohol) nearby, there are restaurant and brunch / lunch places within walking distance. con: dog-/cathair everywhere. the bed was extremely noisy at every movement. The stench in the apartment. The mattress was stinky ... the highway noise is not sufficiently insulated. Additonally: the Noclegi Renters didn't explain how/why the 10% conversion fee that was charged despite the price of the apartment displayed on the booking. And they wouldn't let it go. first they claimed (1st try) it was my bank's conversion costs (not true, I was charged in euros, not in PLN). then they claimed (2nd try), it was a cleaning fee ... the fcken apartment was full of cathair, and they even apologized for not cleaning it!!! checking in the booking . com app, the cleaning fee was already included, which again doesn't justify their 10% overprice. then (3rd try) they said the currency conversion is standard art of payments - in over 10 years using booking . com, never, absolutely never was i overcharged without a plausible explanation. their terms and conditions is only linked / made available _after_ the overcharge took place. there is absolutely zero chance of learning about the 10% more costs. So total costs on booking . com were x, and I was charged with about 10% more. this is basically a scam.
