Budget rooms Pilatus - Alpnachstad

A great value-for-money stay in Lucerne, located just a few minutes' walk from the Pilatus railway. The guesthouse also provides free parking, which was very convenient for our road trip. The room and shared areas were clean and well maintained. Since the living room is shared with two other rooms, we arrived late and tried to keep the noise down out of consideration for other guests. The common area was well equipped, with a refrigerator, kettle, and other useful amenities. Interestingly, we found the lighting controls somewhat confusing and weren't sure whether the lights were connected to a timer.

The bed felt a little narrow, and opening the windows for ventilation sometimes allowed insects to come inside.

Clean. Good value. Great location.

Nothing.

Beautiful, new, and above all clean accommodations in a new building, with parking in a quiet location and just a few steps from the lower station of the steepest cogwheel railway in the world—the Pilatus Railway. Easy self-check-in; all the information was clear and we received it on time. Great accommodations in a beautiful location.

Excellent location just a block from the train station on a lovely, quiet street. The place was impeccably clean, and a GREAT bathroom. The price was on point too. It was easy to find and also I really appreciated the free luggage storage. After I checked out, I put my bags in storage and went up to Mount Pilatus. I really enjoyed this place and would highly recommend it especially for the price. The owners keep this place very clean and all the details were thoughtful. I would definitely stay here again!

There was only a single pretty flimsy cover, and I was cold so I bundled up. The “throw” blanket at the end of the bed is tiny, so access to an extra cover and sheets would be appreciated.
