Perfect in every way.

We had an amazing stay at Casa Di Manu. Our host was attentive and available for any advice we needed. We felt very much at home, so clean, comfy, well equipped, in fact everything we needed. Great restaurants all very near plus the funicular to Montecatini Alto ( a must to visit). A Perfect location for visiting Florence, Lucca, Viareggio. The station is a 2 minute walk with excellent services. We would definitely recommend Casa Di Manu.

Terrible host - did not honor the description in of her rental.

The host was a nightmare.... Sending me messages on what's app to turn off the air conditioner and not put the clothes rack outside the door.

The hostess was a nightmare. She sent messages telling us to turn off the air conditioning, don't put clothes in one spot but another spot. We were clearly being watched.

When I arrived, the owner did not divulge where the remote control for the air conditioning was. I should have seen it as a sign. We checked in on July 22. The next day, she sent me a message on whatsApp telling me to turn off the air conditioner during the night because it had been on all day. We didn't wish to engage in conflict so we appeased her. To our detriment .......because we woke up full of sweat, so much so that our clothes were dripping. Well our attempt to avoid conflict wasn't successful either because the day after she sent another message reprimanding us for leaving the exterior light on. It was an honest mistake because the switches for both the inside and outside lights are right next to each other. There is a washing machine but since the apartment is on the ground floor, the clothes will never dry inside, as there is inherent humidity in any ground floor house such as this one was. Furthermore, the bedrooms are partially underground since the terrain is dislevel. I placed the clothes rack outside my door where the sun was and received another whatsApp message telling me not to place it there because it bothered her car passageway. I only put them outside while I was home so I could quickly remove them if necessary. The clothes dry faster in the sun. There was shade at the time of the day that she wanted me to put them elsewhere. Overall, it was an extremely unpleasant experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone who likes freedom and not having their every move controlled and criticized. Finally, she refused to provide a receipt for the tourist tax that she collects apart from the amount paid on booking. This is required by law. I would not recommend this place for all of the above reasons. I had selected this place because of the facilities that it boasted. Namely, the air conditioner and the washing machine. She cites energy costs and basically didn't like us using either.

Everything was better than expected. Manuela was the great host. I highly recommend it.

Very convenient location, as we came by train from Florence-just 5min to the apartment which is large and everything is nicely arranged. All that you need is in the kitchen. The rooms have very comfortable beds and nice bedding. We even were able to watch the US Open tennis final and Djokovic winning Medvedev. At the end I have made stupid mistake-I closed the door and left the key in the door inside, but Manuela has solved the issue :)

La casa vacanze che vorrei trovare in ogni luogo

Non mi era mai capitata una casa così profumata, ordinata e curata, dalle stoviglie alla biancheria. Frullatore, minipimer, microonde, tostapane,phon , ferro da stiro tutti presenti. Olio, aceto , sale, zucchero, caffè e tutti prodotti per la pulizia di casa e personale, compresa acqua fresca in frigo. Parcheggio su strisce bianche di lato alla struttura, il centro, le terme e la funicolare da raggiungere a piedi in pochi minuti. Zanzariere , condizionatore in tinello e pale a soffitto di ultima generazione nelle camere, casa fresca in generale. Consiglio una visita ad " Asmana wellness" a 20 minuti di auto direzione Firenze x totale relax.. Host cordiale e molto disponibile che abita sopra la struttura

Prezzo troppo onesto, merita molto di piu' data la vicinanza con Firenze e Lucca.
