Located just 500 feet from the beach crossover on 6th Street, 510A Tybee Tides offers the perfect blend of convenience and comfort. The spacious three-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom retreat is ideally situated close to Tybee shops, popular restaurants, and Tybee's beach volleyball, tennis, and basketball courts – and even a large child's playground at Memorial Park. Whether you're enjoying some of Tybee's most popular amenities, relaxing private sundeck, or gathering with family in the open living space, this home provides the perfect base for your Tybee Island adventure.
An Inviting Space for Family Gatherings
Step inside to find a bright, open floor plan on the main living floor, perfect for spending time together. The fully equipped kitchen features modern appliances and plenty of counter space for meal prep. A dine-on countertop and a formal cottage dining table provide ample seating for your group, while the cozy living room, complete with a queen sleeper sofa and a large TV, offers the perfect spot for crashing after a day at the beach. The spacious covered porch right off of the living area offers a tranquil space framed by lush surroundings for outdoor meals or a quiet place to relax. A half bathroom and a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer are also located on this floor for added convenience.

All three bedrooms are on the top floor of the Tybee Tides 510A. The primary bedroom features a queen bed, an attached private bathroom, and a private sundeck with ocean views. The second bedroom also has a queen bed and easy access to the shared full bathroom off the hallway. The third bedroom is a cozy space with a twin bed and a full bed and easy access to the shared hallway bathroom.

During your stay at Tybee Tides 510A, you'll be within walking distance of many of Tybee's most popular attractions. If, after a day on the beach, you would rather rinse off all the sand in a warm shower instead of the convenient outdoor shower, there is an additional full bathroom with a walk-in shower on the home's ground level right off the grilling area. If, during your stay, you are lucky enough to catch one of Tybee's many parades, this home sits right on most of the parade routes, giving you a front-row seat to iconic island parades like the Tybee Pirate Festival in October.

Our extended family was pleased with the location and found it quiet despite being adjacent to main road. Easy walk to beach, convenient for bicycling. There were numerous small maintenance issues that are easy to overlook and didn’t impact our stay. However, there were some significant issues which indicate lack of investment and upkeep by owner: most patio furniture rusted and falling apart, grill is also in bad condition. The queen bed mattresses are horrendous with one being stiff as a board, and the other (in master suite) is worn and soggy with a creaky box spring that would wake the dead (better off sleeping on couch). I doubt the owner has slept in the master suite anytime recently…
If these issues were corrected I would rate it 5 out of 5 for a family visit to Tybee.
