A very pleasant stay

Great location

We had an issue with arriving to a dirty house but I believe this was a one off due to building works and cleaners were called and it was quickly resolved.

Great location for easy access to railway station and town centre.

Great location, close to railway station and town centre. Good to have ensuite bathrooms in each bedroom. Lovely open plan seating and dining area. Lovely touch to have the Christmas tree up over the festive period.

Hot water for showers was good to start but after about 7 people taking showers the remainder of the party (3) had cold ones. The property could do with a freshen up to the walls/woodwork.

Spacious house lovely location

Location. First impression lovely. Bedrooms lovely and clean. Enough wardrobe space. Showers and bathrooms mixed sizes double to single.

Shower from top floor leaking into bathroom below (bedrooms to the front of the house). Dishwasher was not clean. Some glass and crockery in the cupboards had black bits on them from it.

Clean and fine for 8 people and well situated comfortable Lots of crockery Pass the keys staff helpful

Cooking equipment not really adequate for 8 people Dishwasher did not work although getting mended next week No phone response but email within 12 hours I did not like the £40 compulsory insurance fee added on (as an alternative to £500 potentially returnable fee) We looked after the property well and so did not feel this was justified

A really lovely house in a great location

There were 9 of us staying but the house didn’t feel cramped. The through dining area and lounge made for a nice open space to sit in. The table was big enough for all of us. The location is excellent.

Parking is tight… but a huge bonus to actually have parking!

Exceptional

The location was great, the walk along the river everyday was lovely. The house was so quiet which with being so close to the centre was surprising. I loved the house, I could have stayed forever.

The attention to detail was off. Only 3 toilet rolls for 7 people. Dirty oven. Questionable washing up liquid. Only one dishwasher tab and one washer tab left on the side which we didn't use. No tin foil for the oven. Very sad pillows, so flat and old.

Big Terrace House in Great Location with free parking.

Excellent Location being less than 10 minutes walk to walls of City, having large en suite rooms, Bedrooms and Bathrooms had been cleaned. Free parking. Cleaners returned after our complaint and cleaned kitchen floor quite quickly.

Two main items: 1) Kitchen floor being sticky and not cleaned properly. 2) No internet throughout our entire stay, there is obviously a long term issue as property documentation details hw to trying to reset it etc. Other things Not enough cutlery for a group of 10 to allow us to have a couple of meals before using dishwasher. No bowl in single sink which makes it difficult to wash dishes. Only one black bin liner, we were a group of 10 there for three days.

Good location within 10 minutes walk from the station and centre of York. Well equipped house, stylishly furnished with 5 good sized double ensuites. Had the parking for 2 cars.

On arrival the lounge radiator was leaking and the heating wasn't working and the house was cold. So we started our break by mopping the floor, reporting the leak and sorting out a temporary solution until the plumber came the next day when the problems were fixed

Enjoyed very much

The location was perfect for the city centre the accommodation also very comfortable and very well laid out

The front courtyard still had the previous tenants rubbish there and the crockery was not clean with traces of lipstick on glasses and stains / streaks on mugs and plates we therefore washed them all by hand as the dishwasher had run out of salt and rinse aid but the main problem as I pointed out to the cleaners that it was not getting hot I expect there's a fault .didn't bother saying anything as only there a short while Never the less apart from those couple of points we had a great stay and would certainly book again

Housekeeping let it down

Location was good, 10-15 minutes and you are in the centre, beds were comfortable and the main areas were large enough for 8 people.

House hadn't been hoovered, which was not a good first impression. Found dirty dishes and crumbs of food in kitchen cupboards, no microwave as stated. A towel and lost property was found under one bed, rubbish was found in nearly every room under beds, behind the bedside tables, etc. In a few bathrooms there are loose towel rails, one was starting to come away from the wall. One of the showers isn't draining properly and the shower tray seal is not adequate and resulted in a puddle on the floor. In the living room there is damp on the wall, some of the radiators weren't working and neither was one of the replacements. Time for new cleaners as the ones they have certainly don't do the job they are paid for.

Able to check in earlier and leave our cars at the property after check out whilst we went for breakfast. Perfect for extended family holiday.

Could have been abit cleaner. A lot of the glasses/mugs were dirty (lipstick stained), oven gloves were covered in food. Bathrooms needed a wipe down before use. previous users items found under furniture.

Great location however parking problems!!

Great location, lovely house and very clean on arrival. The only problem we encountered was that someone had parked in our allocated parking area for two days at the front of the house. This resulting in having to park on the road and getting a ticket - not happy. We paid a lot of money for the house and one of the reasons why was because of the allocated parking. I did contact the management company several times however just received an email with the parking arrangements on!!
