Great place for a couple of nights

Fantastic central location, very comfortable and with incredible views. Lots of digital nomads around and the hostel had a few events on to help with socialising. Brilliant rooftop bar for a sundowner.

A few more hooks in the bathrooms and showers would be helpful.

Disappointment

The location is amazing, right in the city centre. The staff is helpful and gives great tips.

For the double room with private WC, the price is way too expensive. The room only has one bed and the WC, no wardrobe, no tv... i would suggest to search for a hotel with better ammenities.

I truly enjoyed staying in this hostel twice this month. This is one of the best hostel I have visited this year and probably the best one in Greece. The staff is friendly and helpful especially male staff that can run extra mile for you. The location is central and perfect. The lounge upstairs is clean and comfortable with a vista to a local park. I don’t give more than 7 to hostels , however this newly built hostel is exceptional, clean and centrally located. Enjoy

Everything was great, to be honest. The staff were very friendly, I arrived earlier and they offered to chill a bit in their common area . Afterwards they stored my items without any problem . The beds very clean , there were several toilets and bathrooms, clean with nice smell. The room has a nice view. Location is also very comfy , close to everything. I mean , I couldn’t have imagined anything better.

Comfortable nights

The hotel was amazing. If you are traveling to Thessaloniki, I would highly recommend it. It was easily accessible and well-connected to other places. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The bed was comfortable, and the hall was quiet, so I had a very good sleep after some exhausting days. Everything was clean and well-kept. I also enjoyed the view from the common room while having breakfast.

The room could have been a little larger, but it’s not an issue if others wake up at different times. Other than that, everything was great. I’d say — don’t overthink it, just book if you’re heading to Thessaloniki.

Top notch hostel

Very cool hostel with a rooftop bar with my favourite view in town. Both the bar and the common room overlook the city. The beds were comfy and all the facilities were very clean. All the staff I met were super friendly and gave amazing recommendations. They also have lots of trips and events. Thanks for an amazing stay! Special shout out to Rachel for the awesome beach day and to the bar staff for all the good coffee and great chats :))

Exceptional

The hostel is in the city center. All major attractions are mostly 10 minutes away from the hostel. The Hostel is a 5-minute walk from the bus and metro station. The staff in the hostel is really kind and professional. I would like to recommend this place.

Spotless, modern hotel-like accommodation.

Such a spotless place, modern accommodation for a good price.. I felt comfortable and safe. I loved the rooftop bar, where u can enjoy a special view over Aristotle Square and the dining area is lovely with very nice staff who look after you when you need it. I like that you can decide if you like to have breakfast or not and pay afterwards. :)

Staff always with a smile and excellent attitude. The room was clean beyond our expectations. Roof bar/ garden is excellent with excellent views.

Rooms overlooking the park and square were booked so we had to book a room in the back. The window view was absolutely terrible. We must plan ahead and check availability next time. There WILL a next time.

Comfortable and private.

Very comfortable, offers privacy and is very central! Check-in is smooth and offers many information and opportunities for travelers to discover more around the city. It is as central as it can be, and right next to the bus stop going to the airport.

Hard to get to know other people, since the common area is very isolated from the normal life. It is up on the 6th floor closed by a door. The front office was kind, but not warm welcoming or eager to help as in other hostels I have been.

Modern facilities

The rooms are exceptional with a ledge to store your things beside the bed. Having a private bathroom in the room is very convenient as are the free bath towels. The hostel was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked and clean.

Brighter LED lights in the bathroom would be beneficial. Also, it could be beneficial to have some organised activities for the evenings to allow more travellers to get to know each other better. As it is such a big hostel, it can be difficult to mix with others.

It exceeds your expectations!

I think Zeus is Loose is more than an hostel. It has a common area with great urban view, lots of working space and a great kitchen. There is also a roof bar where you can taste great cocktails and spirits. The location of the hostel is also perfect. I would highly recommend this place!

The only thing that should be fixed is the wifi connection. Even if it is indicated that the hostel has a high-speed connection, it is mostly very unstable and annoying.

Bad, Very Bad and very bad

Just a great location. That's all. Nothing more. Poor service.

1) The hotel staff opened my locker when ı was outside and without asking my permission they put all of my stuff in the other locker. They touched my personal stuff one by one. I lost one of my whiskey bottles. 2) There is a bar on the roof of the hotel and the music here is very loud. my room was on the 4th floor and I couldn't sleep because of the noise.

Refreshing stay in Thessaloniki

I liked the location. Also they provide 2 set of towels. This is very nice 👍 further you also get a locker with a key 🔐. For privacy there are curtains for the bed. There are also activities organized by the hostel. Every day had a different activity. The common room is super nice with a large kitchen. There is also a cool bar on the top

There was only one plug 🔌 point or socket so if you have multiple devices then it could be a problem but a minor one

This is what every hostel should strive to be

Initially I chose this hostel because of the location - I had a tour booked early in the morning and the pickup point was literally one minute walk from the hostel. The price is also really good. I had a 4 bad women’s room and all three nights of my stay I had the room to myself. Everything is recently renovated. The room had a separate shower with a really nice water pressure and a bathroom with the mirror. Towels and a key for the locker included. And do I love when the hostel has beds with the curtains. Two padded stools are a nice touch. Really nice common room on the 6th floor and a rooftop bar on the 7th. Everything is clean everywhere. They have a WhatsApp group, so I always got all the updates on the activities. During my stay I managed to attend a table tennis tournament and some card games one evening and free pancakes for breakfast, have met some great people that I got to hang out with. Nice vibe in general and it was pleasant to stay there.

I don’t think I can come up with anything negative. It’s an exemplary hostel where you feel like the management have thought through every little detail that the travelers might need and like.
